Once upon a time, GlobalTech, a small company with big dreams, realized they needed to hire developers. But not just any developers—ones who could code fast, scale faster, and fit their budget. Enter #RytsenseTechnologies, an Indian software agency, where chai powers code and productivity is off the charts. The time zone difference? Not a problem. While GlobalTech slept, Rytsense worked. It was a match made in "Night Mode Development." GlobalTech marveled at how fast things got done, bragging, “Our app improves while we dream!” The real magic? Rytsense’s communication skills. From clear project updates to well-placed cat GIFs on Slack, the team at GlobalTech felt like Rytsense was right next door. The icing on the cake? **Hiring from Rytsense was 40% cheaper** than local hiring, and with chai-fueled efficiency, their product roadmap shrank by 10 months. Beyond code, Rytsense suggested improvements like AI integrations, reducing costs by 15%. It wasn’t just about writing code—they truly cared about GlobalTech’s success. In short, partnering with Rytsense was a no-brainer. With developers who dream in code and drink chai, GlobalTech scaled big, faster than they’d ever imagined.

Building the developer experience at Fondion 💪 When I transitioned from corporations to Fondion, I found the opportunity to make quicker decisions and nurture a strong development culture. Why is this important to me? In a smaller company, agility and humanity are crucial. We act quickly and efficiently, ensuring everyone thrives in their roles. My responsibilities as a Tech Lead: While I spent about 20% of my time coding, most of my focus was on supporting our developers – helping them grow, providing feedback, and leading the team. I also handled high-level technical architecture and planning. When coding, I focus on enhancing the developer experience. Since Fondion's early days, we've prioritized developer experience: 👉 Document everything: We use Jira and Confluence. (Acknowledging that back in the early days, documentation wasn't exactly our strong suit.) 👉 Best practices: We ensure code quality through rigorous review processes. 👉 Automation: We automate as much as possible, including running tests automatically on pull requests. 👉 Consistent code formatting: Code is formatted consistently across the team. 👉 Staging deployments: Automated deployments to staging environments help us test continuously and deploy to production weekly with small, manageable changes. Our goal is to build an amazing workplace for developers, and we’re constantly improving our processes to support our tech team. Let's connect and discuss more about building a great developer experience. 🙌 #DeveloperExperience #FondionCulture

Target audience for DevinAI? If you are planning to take a plunge from job to your own tech startup(say some tech product) and don't have a single line of code written yet. Then YES, you can perhaps count on Devin to write you basic boilerplate/infra code. But as the complexity of your product increases and you start on adding multi-dimensional nuances to your product, Devin will get replaced by mid to Senior level techies, at best by a Fresh Graduate even(in some scenarios)!! So in my opinion, Devin is not going to replace you as a software engineer, but it's going to be very helpful for solopreneurs at the moment!! Peace 😊 #devinai #devin

When I started in the CTO role at Vuuh, I did a lot of mistakes as I let the "software engineer" mindset bleed into the "technology officer" role. - I was looking for things to build because I liked to build, without really looking for the things that brought the most value. - I was adding some tools that were not necessary but I wanted to learn to work with them as they were "shiny". - I wasn't properly prioritizing our features and the things to spend time on because I wasn't looking properly at the business case. - I was obsessing over code and, although it pains me to admin, kind of micromanaging my team with absurd code details that should've been left for them to be decided (naming things, code structure, test coverage, etc). - I was the owner of the whole codebase, and honestly I was scared to let go of the code, or have areas of the codebase I had no knowledge about. But after 4 years, I changed the way I do things: - We spend much more time thinking and talking about the business cases - We, as a team, prioritize the most "straight to the point" solution for our problems instead of making extra modular things and finding the perfect abstractions - We don't prematurely optimize, but instead we keep an eye on the "hot areas" of the codebase - We look to add only high value and high impact tests and we focus on testing the business cases more than the unit testing the internals of the code. - We look to simplify rather our codebase than endlessly expand it. - I learned to delegate more and focus on the result, allowing people to truly own their areas. - I learned to not lose my shit over bad code, as I have written plenty of it over time and Vuuh is alive and well. So, we are balancing deadlines and market pressure from time to time and get some technical debt in the process, but as long as we keep it under control, it's all good.
