This is how I combined my passion for food with work 🥘 🥐 🍲 I’ve always traveled to company retreats with Argentinian sweets. It’s been a great way to kick off conversations about my country—and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a taste of Dulce de Leche? This year, at MailerLite's Workation, I decided to take this idea a step further. With a team spread across 45+ countries, I thought: why not have everyone bring a local snack to share? The result was magical. We didn’t just taste the flavors of different regions of the world; we created a space that sparked conversations, cultural exchanges, and great ideas. The snack table became a natural gathering point where we shared more than just food—we shared our stories, traditions, and a piece of our identities. It was heartwarming to see colleagues continuously gathering throughout the days, proudly presenting a piece of home and engaging in lively discussions about their cultures. This simple act of sharing turned into an invaluable bonding experience that transcended borders and celebrated the uniqueness of our team. To me, this is what Workations are all about— Bringing a piece of yourself to the table and going back home with a piece of everyone else. The Power of Team Building! At TÜV SÜD, we believe that strong teams are built not just in the office, but through shared experiences that strengthen our connections. Over the years, we’ve organized all sorts of activities – from bowling and day trips to thrilling escape rooms. But one event truly stands out for me: Oktoberfest! Each year, during this world-renowned festival, TÜV SÜD brings employees together for an unforgettable night. We enjoy a traditional dinner, and of course, three “Maß Bier” (or Radler or non-alcoholic options, if you prefer!) What makes this event special isn't just the drinks or the music (although, who can resist singing along to “Sweet Caroline”?). It’s about stepping away from the daily grind, having fun, dancing crazily on the benches, and creating lasting memories with colleagues. And while we love to celebrate, we also live by the motto: "Wer feiern kann, kann auch arbeiten" – those who can party, can also work! As I #celebrate 6 years with Atmosphere Core , I’m filled with #pride and #gratitude for the incredible #journey I've been on. During this time, we’ve transformed our #brands and #expanded our presence in #key #markets. From opening Varu by Atmosphere, OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi, and OBLU SELECT Lobigili, to relaunching OBLU NATURE Helengeli by Sentido, and rebranding Raaya by Atmosphere, each #achievement has been a testament to our #collective vision and drive. However, what stands out the most for me is the #privilege of #leading and #growing a #dynamic #international #team, all of whom are based remotely. This has been my most significant #learning #experience, pushing me to #develop #trust, #adaptability, and #effective #communication to #build and #sustain a high-#performing #global team. None of this would have been possible without the #support of my #peers and #team. I am deeply grateful to Masol Tamayo, Chen Chen , Katerina Kuznetsova ,and Ali Abdulla, who have been there from day one and helped me transition smoothly into my current role.
