This year, PlasmaSolve has been traveling A LOT 🛫 🛬 . We have already been to the 🇺🇸#SVCTechCon🇺🇸 , 🇺🇸#ICMCTF🇺🇸 trade shows and we are going to 🇪🇺#PSE🇩🇪 in September, as well as several regional events throughout the year. Supporting such a presence for a small company like ours has always been a challenge ... for obvious reasons 💸 💸💸 . But this year, it got significantly easier thanks to Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and their pro-export programme, where they covered about 50% of our travel expenses for trade shows. And that makes a big difference! I think this is a great example of meaningful government incentive - focused, well-defined, aimed at small companies👏 🙌 👏🙌 👏. We are proud to represent European and Czech industry overseas as well as close to home 🇪🇺🇨🇿! And a part of the funds we save is re-invested to sponsoring these wonderful events, so everybody wins 😉 . Project „Export support for PlasmaSolve through participation in international events in 2024“, reg. no. CZ.01.02.01/04/23_017/0001928 is co-funded by the European Union. The aim of the project is to strengthen PlasmaSolve's export activities through participation in international events. These are three specific international conferences and trade fairs, which are among the most important events in the coating technology industry.

The trade fair industry: Efficient and sustainable? 🌍💚 According to a recent study commissioned by AUMA – Verband der deutschen Messewirtschaft, Germany is once again the world's leading country for trade fairs! With 330 trade fairs at 70 exhibition venues every year, the country offers the perfect platform for networking and business opportunities. Trade fairs also bundle business and private meetings efficiently in one place and offer companies of all sizes access to international markets. This saves additional business trips for both German and international companies and thus makes an important contribution to reducing CO2 emissions. For us this underlines the importance of face-to-face meetings and networking events! That is why we are all the more looking forward to an industry-reunion at #Eworld25!🤝

I am also a representative of a citizens' group in Kamakura City that aims to become a Fair Trade Town, so I am glad to see Japanese examples being introduced to the world. We are excited to share key findings from a recent survey conducted among 3,000 visitors at Germany's international trade fair hubs. The results are compelling: 🔍 Key Highlights: Trade fairs are indispensable industry gatherings, enabling connections that cannot be achieved with the same quality digitally. They help avoid additional business trips, contributing to efficient and sustainable travel. The findings also highlight opportunities for improving trade fair planning and ecological travel logistics. 💬 Jörn Holtmeier, CEO of the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA), summarizes it perfectly: “Trade fairs are essential meeting points for people, hubs for ideas, and showcases for solutions. Aquatech China, 2024 (Shanghai): visa or no visa? Does anyone know whether China's 144-hour visa-free transit policy applies to the Aquatech trade show? It's not mentioned in the travel section of the Aquatech web site (https://lnkd.in/e7Jg4aFw), so maybe it isn't valid. It's kind of important to know this before getting on the plane.

A new report issued by the @EUSME Centre aims to give EU SMEs a comprehensive and practical overview, updated for 2024, of how to get ready and maximise the potential benefits of participating in Chinese trade fairs. This new publication has been written in collaboration with experts from the China IP SME Helpdesk, who provide practical guidance to help SMEs to best protect their hashtag #IPR when taking part in hashtag #tradefairs.
