🛡️ Safer Gambling Week 2024 | Part 5 of 5: Transparent Customer Support and Reviews In our final post for Safer Gambling Week, we’re emphasizing the importance of transparent customer support and honest player reviews—two essential elements in choosing a safe and reliable casino. 🔹Why Customer Support Matters: A reputable casino provides multiple support channels, including live chat, email, and phone options, to quickly address player inquiries. Studies show that 72% of players are more likely to trust casinos offering 24/7 support, as it reassures them that assistance is readily available whenever they need it. Reliable support teams can provide timely help on everything from account issues to responsible gaming resources. 🔹How Reviews and Identity Checks Contribute to Safety: Reading recent player reviews can offer insights into a casino's practices, customer support quality, and overall reliability. Also, ensure that the casino requires an identity check as part of their registration process. This step is vital for preventing fraud, confirming age, and complying with regulations aimed at protecting players. Casinos that prioritize identity checks demonstrate a commitment to safer gambling and trustworthiness. 🔍 Player Tip: Before depositing, try contacting customer support with a quick question to assess their response time and quality. Checking recent reviews on trusted platforms can help you identify any red flags or confirm a casino’s positive reputation. Thank you for joining us for this Safer Gambling Week series! We hope it’s helped you GET MORE Aware of safer gaming practices. 🎰 #SaferGamblingWeek #ResponsibleGaming #Playson #GetMOREaware #TransparentSupport #SafeGaming #SGW2024 #onlinecasino #onlineslots #igaming

International Game Technology (IGT), a major U.S. gambling technology provider with over 11,000 employees and $1.9 billion in revenue, reported a significant cyberattack on Sunday that forced them to take several systems offline and implement operational workarounds to maintain customer service. While no group has claimed responsibility, the incident follows a pattern of ransomware attacks targeting the gambling industry, including recent attacks on Ohio's state lottery and MGM Casino, with the latter causing over $100 million in damages. IGT, which informed the SEC of the attack on Tuesday, is currently investigating the incident and working to restore their systems, though they haven't yet determined the financial impact of the disruption.
