In 2015, I was pitched a community-driven Myspace TV app designed to revolutionize how we discover and share TV content. That vision never materialized after Time Inc. acquired Myspace's parent company for $87 million. Today, Plex, Inc. continues bringing that concept to life with its new movie and show reviews feature, allowing users to share insights with friends. In a sea of streaming apps that feel increasingly interchangeable, Plex is doing what ya'll need to be doing—building community. By focusing on social discovery and shared experiences, Plex is positioning itself as more than just a content hub; it’s becoming a vital, habit-forming part of users’ lives.
