The PMI Asia Pacific Festival was a goldmine of insights! I learned about the power of intrapreneurship and fostering a culture of autonomy within project teams. The importance of learning from experience (both successes and failures) and speaking up for innovative ideas were also key takeaways. Had a blast at this year's #PMFair, PMI Belgium Chapter's trademark event. Thank you 🌞 Anja Vandenbergh🧚♀️, Renuka Ayri, PMP, Giuseppe DiMaria, Jūlija Popova, Tim Gaens, Jana Nastari, Edi Venturin, Henrietta Owusua Frimpong, PMP, ACP, Pierre Van de Leemput, Piotr Zamisnii PMP, SCR, PRM and all the dedicated volunteers for making it possible - and helping to elevate the project management community here in Belgium! A few highlights for me: 1) From one fellow basketball player to another (and one Agile coach to another), I loved how Lorenzo Vetrano tailored the #DisciplinedAgile toolkit to his basketball coaching, which resulted in his U18 team's success. What a great example of “context counts” and using the scaling factors to suit the organizational complexity in a simple yet meaningful and empowering way! #ForzaMasters  2) Getting a "Super Project Manager" tattoo with GSK colleagues Cindy Castado and Cátia Marques, PhD at the International Institute for Learning booth because there is no better way to authenticate your project management status than getting tatted-up as a #SuperPM! Thanks Clémentine Darcas! 3) I was inspired by Jan Vervoort's presentation highlighting Constructiv's journey going from “Follower to being Followed” by implementing an effective workstream structure and infusing PRINCE2, Agile, and fit-for-purpose governance to connect the strategic and operational layers. A perfect example of where a structured approach coupled with the right change management strategy, and leadership sponsorship can help to have a transformative effect. #NextGenPM #ProjectManagement #PMIFuture50

The 19th International Congress PMI Poland organized by Project Management Institute Poland Chapter in Warsaw offered a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of AI 🤖 and various areas of everyday life, focusing on how it impacts project management and organizational dynamics. The event brought together professionals from diverse fields, fostering engaging discussions and knowledge-sharing about the challenges and opportunities AI presents in our work environments. I spent two days at the event as one of the representatives of Eviden together with Beata Barlak,🌞✅ PMP Maciej Brzeziński, PMP and Magdalena Zawadzka The workshops themselves were incredibly insightful, especially the session by Jurgen Appelo who explored the future of work, specifically the emergence of the "M-Skilled Worker” and how businesses should adapt to train and integrate Juniors, not just in IT sector. Another session by Marta Stopyra, PMP focused on navigating project "earthquakes"—turning crises into opportunities. Personally, I was inspired by the "management poker" concept 🃏♣️♦️and I’m excited to incorporate this approach into my own work. One of the standout moments was the evening banquet, which provided a relaxed setting for networking with lecturers and fellow project managers. It was a valuable chance to connect with others who face similar project challenges, exchange fresh perspectives, and discuss strategies for optimizing problem-solving processes. Overall, the congress left me energized and armed with valuable tools that will undoubtedly enhance my project management practices.
