There have been so many great sessions at #ISACACon Dublin but this one is close to my heart. #SheLeadsTech session on “Navigating Guidance: Understanding the Roles of Mentorship, Coaching and Sponsorship”. ISACA Top 5 take aways: 1) The role of a sponsor is to open doors that are otherwise closed. 2) No ask. No get. 3) One of the easiest ways to reduce bias in an organization is to increase diversity. 4) Mentorship should be a win-win. Mentors should identify what they want to get out of the relationship too. 5) Leadership is caught. Not taught. Understanding yourself and your identity is the first step in becoming an authentic leader.
