When people purchase you can segment them on the way in as a new customer, but even before they become a customer you have the opportunity to know who your customer is based on what they do on your website. When they’re signing up on your website, you have the ability to add in questions, check boxes, functionality that enables you to identify who they are and what they want to buy. So people coming to your website, signing up for whatever promotional offer it is that you have on your sign up form and then maybe you're asking “hey what are you interested in?”, “what are your goals?”. You could ask them specifically, “Are you looking to build muscle?”, “Are you looking to lose fat?”. You can use that information to send your customers tailored messages based on what they want. Compared to just sending everyone who signs up to your emails through a welcome flow, and it might feel like you’re no longer spamming them.

Last night I sent out the 17th edition of my newsletter. As you can see from my stats I have an engaged list. Weekly I get replies with feedback, And my clients tell me they love it. But it's been a while since I re-hauled my strategy. So here's my plan for the next 30 days: 1/ For list growth: I'm going to go ballz-to-the-wallz with a 5-day educational email-email course get it;) 2/ For revenue: Following the email course, I'm going to have a sales sequence for a low-ticket offer. I'm teetering between a few different options. Before I decide I'm going to chat with my clients to get their opinions. The idea of these changes is to: 1/ Provide a sheit tone of value 2/ Strengthen my positioning in the marketplace What are your thoughts? Suggestions?
