What an amazing day we had training Nauset Regional High School athletes on Conflict Resolution and leadership skills. RJ circle practices were implemented, allowing everyone to be heard and the playing field to be leveled. It is always beneficial to see athletes develop not only their physical abilities but also their leadership skills. #ConflictResolution #LeadershipSkills #RJCirclePractices #AthleteDevelopment

One of the great shifts in consciousness I have had with so Many leaders and performers is to get them to face the fact that much of their identity IS in what they do, and that’s absolutely correct. It’s tools in acceptance that are required and NOT denial. There’s a ‘ mental health ‘ movement seeking to take away such a brutal place to live but to do that is to deny truth The business owners are winners. Hell bent on success and it’s part of WHO they are: ‘ the winner’ Head coaches. There’s a price, you will be incredibly lonely and you WILL suffer greatly. Passion means suffering. In the acceptance of WHO you are you know you will have mental health issues every day but you have tools to navigate such the burden of WHO you are.

This is a huge step in my coaching career to be a part of this program and to learn from some of the best coaches in the state of CO at a professional level is a dream come true. This is going to challenge my approach to the game and with players, to think outside the box in terms of organization and strategy, and overall be able to apply my learning and grow. What is amazing about this opportunity is that it directly applies to continuing to grow my hospitality consulting business (The Globetrotter LLC) and to become more dynamic in my approach to sales and revenue management and also hone in on the 5 Ws to anticipate trends, obstacles, negotiations and data analytics and be strategic in each approach as I would the game. #leadership #coaching #networking #soccer

ACU Online Master of Science in Sports Leadership… because leadership matters. We pour into leaders who pour into leaders to transform lives so that individuals, families, and communities flourish. Nothing amplifies influence quite like sport. Thankful that gifted and called people like Dr. Daryl L. Jones and Brandon Podgorski not only get this, but make it a reality. Dictionary dot com Opening Day [ oh-puh-ning dey ] March 24, 2021 WHAT IS OPENING DAY? Opening Day is the first day of the Major League Baseball (MLB) season—the day on which most or all teams in the league play their first game. The name is also used for the first day of the baseball season in other leagues, including minor leagues, professional leagues in other countries, college leagues, and youth leagues. The term can also refer to the day on which a particular team starts its season, as in It’s Opening Day for the Phillies, who will host the Braves. This sense of the term is sometimes uncapitalized. Opening Day is part of US baseball tradition and culture, with many baseball fans associating it with the start of spring and treating it as an unofficial holiday. Similar terms include Opening Series and Opening Night. A team’s first home game is called their home opener (though this term is commonly used in other sports).

Took my 16-year-old niece to a Washington Nationals vs New York Mets game recently (Go Nats)! Nothing quite like the ballpark experience—funnel cakes, hotdogs, and slushies! We discussed the valuable learnings from baseball that apply beyond the field. Here are the key takeaways we discussed: 1. **Patience is key:** Just like waiting for the right pitch, achieving goals often requires multiple attempts. The Nats' comeback from 5-1 down in the 5th inning to a 7-5 victory between the 6th and 8th innings is a testament to this—how you finish matters more than how you start. 2. **Have a Plan:** Whether a batter strategizing each at-bat or a pitcher adapting to a tough opponent, having a plan and adjusting as needed is crucial. This extends to the Game managers making timely substitutions and demonstrating situational leadership. 3. **Learn from Failure:** Embracing failure, making adjustments, and turning setbacks into successes is a fundamental part of the game. One pivotal moment can change the outcome which is why the importance of continuous improvement and resilience are key. Despite my niece's waning interest in my baseball wisdom, we enjoyed the game and the treats. A memorable evening. #GoNats #DCNights #BaseballLessons #Patience #Planning #Resilience #LifeSkills #BaseballExperience
