🌟🤝 Celebrating Patient Participation Week! 🤝🌟 This week, we shine a spotlight on the invaluable role that patients play in their own healthcare journey. Patient participation isn't just about receiving care; it's about actively engaging, advocating, and collaborating with healthcare providers to achieve the best possible outcomes. Every patient brings a unique perspective, voice, and set of experiences to the table, and their insights are essential in shaping a healthcare system that is patient-centred and inclusive. During Patient Participation Week, let's celebrate the power of partnership between patients and healthcare providers. Let's encourage open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making in every healthcare encounter. To all the patients out there: Your voice matters. Your experiences matter. Your participation matters. Together, let's continue to champion patient-centred care and create a healthcare system that truly puts patients first. And to healthcare providers: Thank you for listening, valuing, and empowering your patients. Your dedication to patient participation makes a world of difference in the lives of those you serve. Let's make every week Patient Participation Week by fostering a culture of collaboration, empathy, and respect in healthcare. Together, we can build a healthier, happier future for all. 🌟🤝 #PatientParticipationWeek #EmpowerPatients #HealthcarePartnership #ZAMHealthcareandSupportLTD 🤝🌟

We are ending the week on a strong note and wanted to share our recap on attending Healthcare Advocate Summit. This event is a must-attend for any of those working in healthcare. Educational sessions, networking and the result of the recharge many of us in medication access need before the busiest time of year ( ❄ Blizzard season) is here. Here's some of the teams insight on attending the event ⤵ ▫ COO, Yolanda Martillo, MBA: "I learned something new from everyone I met. It was very helpful to connect with people who could complement what we are doing, the network experience was invaluable and the panels and lectures were relevant to today's healthcare challenges. It was nice to see other people being passionate about taking care of patients." ▫ Specialty biller, Thao Vu: "I think we grew up too privileged (and with healthcare knowledge) to know that there are so many people out there who cannot get medical care/medications that we take for granted. It was eye opening for me." ▫ Director of Strategy and Business Development, Mostyn Fero: "Advocacy is an underrepresented faction in the healthcare world, yet provide services that are not only helpful, but necessary for many patients and people trying to navigate American healthcare. Listening and learning of the stories, struggles, achievements, and goals of advocates is always informative and inspiring!" ▫ Director of Customer Success, Sheri Cawby: "2024 was my 3rd year attending and working the event. Being surrounded by so many advocates whose goal is medication access and affordability amazes me every year. If it wasn't for some of these passionate advocates, patients would be struggling to get the care and help they need. The passion is something that just can't be put into words! ▫ Director of Practice Services, Briana O'Dwyer: "I have been attending and volunteering at the summit since it's conception. To see the organic growth of those who have been called and inspired to attend is mind-blowing. Seeing advocates, staff who work in practices, pharmacies, pharma, all the way down to those representing technological solutions is truly the representation of what happens when you rally all of those whose goal is to improve patient access and affordability in every sector of healthcare is something that truly puts me in awe. The nuggets of knowledge I come back with and new connections make the event exceptional and a must attend every year!" . . . . . #healthcare #healthcareadvocatesummit #advocate #advocacy #education #medicationaccess #specialtydrugs #allergy #asthma #networking #fostergrowth #access #accesstocare #affordability #medicocx
