The training for police officers in Megiddo teaches how to strike with conviction in every cardinal direction and even those in between 🧭 This way, blind spots are reduced, and it's easier to defend against ambushes! #Exemplar #gamedev #indiegame #pixelart #indiegamedev #indiedev #gamedevelopment #digitalart

If you don’t know what hatred for another human being, racist dehumanization and white supremacist violence looks like, this is it. One of a million examples. This officer had no concern for the rights of these people as human beings and felt that he could dominate them and subject them to abuse without recompense or consequence. The young man was detained, tased and not a threat. This psychopath kicked him in his face/jaw and stepped on the back of his head and did similar to the other man sitting down. Why? Because he sees these people as his racial or social lessers, as his enemies, he wanted to inflict suffering upon them and dominate them, and he felt that he could get away with it due to his status. I try not to get too political or too personal on LinkedIn as it is a professional platform, but I really feel it is important to show people what other people’s experiences can look like. I love all of kinds of people, I have respect for all people. No human being deserves this kind of treatment, no member of any group deserves to be dehumanized, no matter their skin color, race, religion, sexuality, gender, disability or any other factor of someone’s identity. We are all people. Some people live in their bubble of faux-civility, detached from the suffering of others with no concern for the experiences and realities of other people. It is digusting to me to see flagrant nonchalance in the face of suffering and injustice. Unfortunately, it is much too common. In many societies, the structures of classism, race and other classifications are used to justify people not expressing empathy for people not within their racial/social group. They view other kinds of people as outsiders and thus they reserve no concern or empathy for the humanity of the other person and their experiences. If sharing this bothers someone I am sorry but seeing hate and violence like this, I can’t stay silent. Very unsettling that abuse like this happens in society and people are often not held accountable. Not acceptable. There needs to be social and law enforcement reform in the world at large but especially in countries where there are diverse populations. Tribalism is at an all time high and it is sad to see when so many groups in society espouse the progressive ideals of prioritizing the pursuits of societal excellence, higher learning, equality, diversity, inclusion, civility, better quality of life for the individual, etc in public. Reform does not take place as much as it should due to prioritization of different interests that are given more importance than empowering and improving the life and opportunity for the average person through funding programs that foster inclusivity and social cohesion, creating more opportunities for people in academia, the workplace, and society in general. Different interests are prioritized and yet you constantly hear the aforementioned ideals expressed and are told how important they are. Change needs to happen.

Good advice in all countries
Staffordshire Police Road Crime team attended to the driver of this vehicle who broke down on the M6. Luckily the occupant(s) exited the car and waited in a safe location before the collision occurred. A stark reminder of the dangers of remaining in your vehicle. #RoadSafety #SmartMotorways #Staysafe #GetOUT
