In the world of Quality Improvement (QI), it's so important to make sure our QI teams truly represent the organization or group we're working with. This is especially crucial when we're doing community work. To drive meaningful and equitable change, QI teams should reflect the communities we serve. This means including people with lived experience in the processes or systems we're trying to improve. Their insights and perspectives are invaluable for creating solutions that are effective and inclusive. Without their involvement, we risk missing root causes and overlooking system failures and gaps that we might not otherwise see. 🍎 Food for thought: How can we better ensure our QI teams are representative of the communities we serve and include voices with lived experience? Let's work together to build more inclusive and effective QI teams! 💪🌍 #QualityImprovement #CommunityEngagement #Equity #LivedExperience #InclusiveChange
