Subsequently, they request UGX 300 billion to restore it to FIFA standards for hosting major international tournaments. This situation arises instead of the over UGX 10 billion that would have been necessary for upkeep and repairs if the stadium had been utilized as intended and maintained according to the initial developers’ recommendations. Such scenarios highlight the crucial need for strategic facilities management in EA sports infrastructure to prioritize long-term sustainability over short-term gains.
