Our latest #SocialArt project has seen the plant at Eboli in the Province of Salerno transformed! Situated in Southern Italy, the site provided a new canvas for the artist Luca Zanni, commonly known as ZAMOC. Once again, our aim has been to redefine the industrial architecture, making a statement about the creativity, harmony and hi-tech innovation of our business, while also stressing our close links with the local community. It's all part of the wider Social Art initiative we launched in 2023 to celebrate our 50th anniversary, which recognizes the power and impact art can have to uplift the spirit and provide inspiration. Two circular, symmetrical murals 'pierce' the inner walls of the production areas to open up a view to the outside for those working there. As you can see, the landscapes are vibrant and evocative, light and dreamlike. At the same time, they have a close connection to the magical local region. The first work connects the landscape to #Lincotek by incorporating a femoral prosthesis in place of one of the Paestum temples’ Doric columns, along with a mechanical arm mounted on ancient ruins. The second is a tribute to the company's togetherness and tireless co-operative spirit, depicting people rowing on the Cilento coast. As you'd expect, #Lincotekers were eager to work collaboratively with ZAMOC in the creation of the art! Take a look at the pictures here and let us know what you think of the display!
