Choosing the right GSM (grams per square meter) for sports clothing is indeed crucial, as it directly affects performance and comfort. At Heini, our extensive R&D ensures that we tailor the GSM index of our fabrics to meet the specific demands of various sports, from cycling to skiing. For example, Nordic and Alpine skiing have distinct requirements. Nordic skiing typically requires lighter, more breathable fabrics to facilitate movement and moisture management, while Alpine skiing often demands heavier, insulated materials for warmth and protection against harsh conditions.
