Here’s a snapshot of what I’ve created: 🔍 Features: Intuitive Search: Effortlessly search for countries by name or capital with instant results. Autocomplete Suggestions: Get real-time suggestions as you type to find what you’re looking for faster. Attractive UI: Designed with React and styled for both aesthetics and functionality. 💡 Tools & Technologies Used: React: Leveraged for a component-based approach to build the interface. CSS/External Frameworks: Ensured the search bar is visually appealing and user-friendly. JSON Data Integration: Efficiently fetched and displayed country and capital information. 🔑 Hackathon Takeaways & Experience with React: Component Reusability: React’s component-based structure allowed me to create reusable components, enhancing maintainability and flexibility. State Management: Improved my skills in managing state and props to deliver smooth, real-time search interactions. Handling Async Data: Gained hands-on experience with asynchronous operations and loading states through JSON data integration and API calls. Optimization: Explored performance optimization techniques in React, including minimizing re-renders and using hooks like useMemo and useCallback. HEY EVERYONE!!! That guy in the BLUE SHIRT looks handsome NA 😁 => So, last week we ( Mohammad Anees, ASADULLAH SHAFIQUE and Hafiza Yousra Khan) participated Teknofest's "FULL STACK FRENZY" web dev Hackathon. => Overall the event was literally amazing, got to meet and discuss ROBOTICS and the AI stuff available there, Participated in the hackathon where we cloned the Teknofest website in just 4 hours. LEARNED WHOLE NEW SKILLS LIKE: 📘 How to use GITHUB for collaboration i.e. working with branches, resolving conflicts etc. 📘 How to be calm in a high-stake pressure environment. 📘 How to plan and strategize the UI in a short period of time. 📘 And most important how to convey what you wanna say to the judges. DevMate), and here I am sharing my revised one-liner, just trying to be more straightforward. So here's devspace: A pair programming platform where you can find fellow developers, create live rooms for video chat, and share screens, facilitating global collaboration. You can also find and join rooms that interest you, connect, and code together! Last weekend, we participated in Hack the Valley 2024 held at University of Toronto Scarborough and built Path4Me. It is a device designed to help visually impaired individuals navigate using 3D sound. It was an intense project where we really dug into some hardcore math and raw programming (no karaoke this time... and if you know us, that's a big deal 😅). Path4Me works by converting spatial data into sound cues that guide the user. It was a fantastic learning experience, even though we didn’t walk away with a win this time. Still, we’re proud of what we accomplished, and I think the team can agree on one thing: as long as we don’t touch CSS, hackathons are always fun 😂 Also as always, a huge thanks to the crew, Shrey Bhatt, Krinskumar Vaghasia and Harshil Patel for being such a great team.
