If you're like me, there are aspects of the holiday season that you enjoy. And others you'd rather skip completely. In my case, the twinkly lights are a yay. The indulgent food is another yay. Time to slow down and enjoy family? Sure! The gift buying, however? Absolute NAY. Of course, the season is what we make of it, and we can all pick and choose which elements to highlight and which ones to leave in the past. It's the same thing with our book projects. Your book is what you make of it -- and you get to choose every single element. 1. If you find your mind wandering when you read longer books, you may decide to write something shorter. 2. If you find your eye drawn to visual elements on the page or frequent bullet points, this may be the style for you. 3. If you like books with a lot of clear examples and stories, you know what to do! 4. If you find yourself only reading the introduction of most books and then skimming the rest, prioritize writing a killer intro. Just like the holiday season, you'll make your book something joyful. The form is flexible. The goal is clear: To share your experiences and your knowledge for the betterment of all readers. Let's go! Love, Laura
