More cosmopolitan than you think BRATISLAVA – MTLG Destination Update 2024 Five great reasons to organise an event in Bratislava: 1. Excellent location and accessibility Bratislava enjoys a favourable position, close to Vienna and Budapest. Thanks to Vienna Airport and improving train and bus connections, it is easily accessible. With a growing number of travellers opting to discover the city, accessibility is a competitive advantage. 2. Where modern meets traditional The interplay of classic Austro-Hungarian buildings and modern skyscrapers, all flanked by the mighty Danube, provides a memorable visual image. Event organisers can take advantage of the scenic setting from Bratislava Castle or the numerous hotel halls with a view. 3. Hub of innovation Several global corporations have found their home in Bratislava. The world-leading ESET company, specialising in cybersecurity, was born in the Slovakian capital in 1992. Oh, did we mention the world’s first flying car came to life here? 4. Flourishing gastronomical scene Our gut feeling tells us the Michelin Guide will come to Slovakia soon. A slew of innovative young chefs have been revolutionising authentic Slovakian cuisine. To boot, winemakers have started cooperating with restaurateurs to pair the best local dishes with superb wines that have been overlooked. Umami! 5. Festival city Bratislava hosts an impressive number of festivals headlined by global superstars. Such events help put Bratislava on the map and foster multiplicative effects for the country. In addition to festivals, the city is becoming a popular incentive destination. It is always very exciting to attend the Top Hotels conference organised by Evensys! I look forward to meeting industry partners on May 28-29 to learn about new investment opportunities, to discuss the latest trends in the hotel market that can improve hotel performance and guest service quality. MOGOTEL, the main hotel operator in the Baltic countries, with a presence in 9 countries: Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Slovenia, Slovakia, Germany, Sweden, Hungary, Poland, has very ambitious plans for Romania and we are working to expand with more than 20 of hotels in the next period in Bucharest, in the main cities of Romania, and also in Moldova and Bulgaria. MOGOTEL pursues the following expansion options: 1. Working with investors who want to develop hotels and want to benefit from the services of MOGOTEL under a management or lease agreement. 2. Collaboration with developers of mixed projects, who want to add value to the project through the hotel under MOGOTEL management, thanks to which the selling price of apartments in a residential project is sure to be higher. 3. Mixed-use developments of office, residential, commercial and other facilities, where the hotel comes with additional services. 4. Developments for rent (BtR "Built to rent"), where MOGOTEL comes with a hotel under an international brand, which offers the necessary services to tenants and increases the attractiveness of the BtR. 5. Conversion/Reconversion of office or residential buildings into hotels. 6. Branded Residences attached to international hotel brands. 7. Acquisition of existing hotels on a management or lease basis. We are interested in receiving opportunities for existing hotels/apart-hotels or projects under development. Offers should be around 100- 350 keys and fit the criteria of one of five categories - economy/ midscale/ upper-midscale/ upscale/ upper-upscale. I am also always happy to meet new partners and discuss new investment opportunities in the region and create new partnerships to work together. 🤝 For any opportunities, feel free to contact me: development.romania@mogotel.com See you at the conference!

“When Luxury Speaks All Languages" “Cuando el lujo habla todos los idiomas” It's 12:45 AM. A luxury guest needs urgent assistance with tomorrow's travel arrangements. Their corporate office in Singapore has changed their schedule. Every detail matters - car type, timing, personalized meet-and-greet. In luxury hospitality, these moments define us. They transform routine interactions into opportunities to showcase true international excellence. Over 15 years in global luxury markets has shown me: properties that master these moments don't just meet expectations - they create unforgettable experiences that elevate their reputation worldwide. #Guadalajara #WorldCup2026 #LuxuryTravel #HospitalityExcellence

Just a little recap of IMEX 2024. First of all a big thank you word to Kempinski for accepting me as hosted buyer. It was about 2 years ago I attended IMEX for the last time. It was remarkable to see how vivid the MICE sector appears again. Pandemic times feel like a vague memory. The number of visitors felt high to me, just as the willingness of doing business. Some claim that big trade fairs are old fashioned, but I strongly disagree. How else can you meet so many contacts in such a short time ? I had about 40 meetings in 2 days time, with the big advantage of choosing yourself how to fill in your time. Some key things I remember : People make the difference. Personal contact is so important. AI technology is the new hype and fascinating. Imex, see you next year! #imex #imex24 #imex2024 #travel #luxurytravel

# 458 EVENTS, France Connected luxury. Personally, I am convinced that certain highly specialized events and trade fairs remain an irreplaceable tool for building relationships, not only professional but also human, that no digital platform can replicate. These moments often represent the beating heart of an entire sector, creating unique connections and opportunities. A prime example is the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), currently taking place in Cannes. This event stands out as an essential benchmark for the luxury travel industry, attracting thousands of professionals, including CEOs, hotel directors, and specialized operators. The ILTM offers a unique opportunity for those looking to enter this exclusive market or strengthen their position within it. At the heart of the event are highly curated meetings between the world’s top travel designers and the most prestigious hospitality brands. The setting of the French Riviera, with its winter sunshine, adds a special touch to the already electrifying atmosphere. Among the participants are private jet operators, cruise lines, and airlines, all eager to explore new collaborations and create valuable connections. ILTM Cannes is much more than just a trade fair: it is the epicenter of innovation and growth for luxury tourism, a place where ideas are born, and lasting relationships are forged. 🙌 What’s your take? "A curated view of where innovation is happening in marketing today, why it matters, and how it is transforming modern business". 👉 More content on our website b-f-t-m . com / DRUMROLL Subscribe to the weekly newsletter. 🎯 If you want to learn more about our transformative approach to generating growth (yes, what we call innovation marketing!), feel free to write us privately. Recent milestones include: ♻️ 100% Green Power Contract for The Pacha Group, which builds on a 22% reduction in absolute emissions in 2023. ♻️ 30% water-saving in July and August 2024 thanks to a range of measures at Destino Pacha Ibiza, including innovative technologies that enhance resource efficiency across the property. ♻️ 86% of fruits and vegetables sourced from Spain, with 30% sourced directly from Ibiza, highlighting our commitment to local and sustainable sourcing.
