Last week we attended the eco data center roadshow in Berlin. We were delighted to partner and enjoyed an interesting panel discussion with different members of the industry about physical security in critical infrastructures. Followed by networking and exchange of news at the BrewDog Dogtap in Berlin. We look forward to the next event in Hamburg November 14th about sustainability, with the last stop in Munich with a tour through our Tier 4 data center on November 21st. Head of Design Michael Martin represented Echelon at the Data Centres Ireland Exhibition and Conference in Dublin last week. He participated in an engaging panel discussion on 'Data Centre Design – Future Considerations’ – alongside Brian Doherty, CEO, Atlantic Hub (a Greenscape company), and John Kermath, International Pre-construction Director, TSL Projects. Michael emphasised how data centre design must be informed by anticipating the needs of the future - the needs of the client, the needs of the rapidly changing tech landscape, energy needs, connectivity needs, and the needs of the communities in which data centres operate. He stated, “The needs of the future must be considered at the outset, because retrofitting isn’t an option, and 'blank sheet' sites - like Echelon’s - present an opportunity to provide now what our stakeholders will need tomorrow.” Many thanks to Data Centres Ireland for hosting two days of insightful discussions and collaboration. We look forward to engaging in more industry-shaping conversations in the future. #EchelonDataCentres #DataCentresIreland #DataCentreInnovation #FutureOfDataCentres #AI

Echelon Data Centres' Head of Design, Michael Martin, was at Datacentres Ireland last week talking about the future of data centre design and, in particular, designing to meet the needs of tomorrow. The continuing adoption of AI globally is going to require increasing capacity, higher-performance computing and greater rack density - and, clearly, the power to run it. We're pleased to be working with Echelon as they develop their state-of-the-art DUB20 campus, the first in Ireland to be located within shouting distance of around 1GW of offshore wind energy, with the capability to bring it onshore and into the grid.

While many recording devices allow defining pre and post-event data, the VECTO System offers a unique and powerful capability. Instead of merely recording a few cycles, it provides the ability to loop back in time, capturing minutes' worth of raw data. The implications of this are significant. By keeping at least a minute or two of raw data onboard, the VECTO System offers a glimpse back in time, a function that is rare in the industry. This feature is key to the construction of the cross-trigger mechanism. When one recording device captures an event, it sends a message to the central server. Then, all devices carrying the same tag receive a trigger message, prompting each to store the exact data from that point forward. The result is a perfectly time-synchronised snapshot across the network, offering comprehensive, in-depth insights. Witness this unique function in action: https://lnkd.in/gYeCf2vy Note: OTELLO & Osprey Pro have been rebranded to VECTO System & VECTO Grid OS respectively. https://lnkd.in/dpAdk5ta #VECTOSystem #TimeSynchronisedSnapshot #DataRecording #NetworkInsights #CrossTriggerMechanism
