Could not agree more! #Malaysia is one of the key ASEAN countries leading the charge in Cloud, AI progress in this new world of Digital Economy. The Malaysian Govt is very supportive and business friendly, extremely agile - creating a perfect environment to invest in new technologies. Together with other formidable ASEAN members, the country and the whole region is poised to grow fast. Our infrastructure partners in Malaysia have been most dynamic in supporting our constantly changing requirements. Kudos to their patience and support. Malaysia has good pool of very driven talents too! In my area of Network build, Design and Subsea Investment, Construction, Operations and Maintenance - we do find not just solid individual SMEs but also People Leaders. I strongly believe that success in any business, function and organisation lies in its People / Talent. I am very confident Malaysia is well positioned in the new digital world of #cloud and #AI.

🎙 “How do you create value with the #Cloud being a destination and an enabler?” 🎙“The initial wave of cloud leverage & consumption has proceeded well. What’s the next stage and is the world geared for it?” These were some of the profound questions that came up at one of the panel discussions at the #AsiaTechXSummit, earlier this week. Titled 🔊 "Adapting to Tech & Evolving Trends: Asia’s Digital Enterprise Journey”, the panel featured the eminent Amitabh Sarkar , Chetan K. , Leemon , Liz Ortiguera, with the session being moderated by Gaurav Modi. Some of the key takeaways for me from the session were : ✅ Three critical challenges in cloud adoption are the quality of data, #governance #frameworks and the #innovationculture within organizations. ✅ The value captured by cloud technology is still in its nascent stages, presenting significant opportunities. Companies should: ▶ Shift their focus from merely “deploying cloud solutions” to "delivering an expanded range of services" through the cloud.      ▶ Adopt technologies such as #EDGE computing to accelerate time to market and achieve cost savings. ▶ Ensure that #businessdecisions drive growth and inform cloud strategy, whether it involves multi-cloud, public cloud, or other options. ✅ Companies must keep a close eye on the availability of skills in-house, with vendors, etc and look at bridging the #skillgap through out of the box solutions. ✅ Democratizing #AI and data empowers diverse voices, fosters innovation, and ensures #inclusivegrowth, making advancements accessible and beneficial to all. I thoroughly enjoyed this session and am eager to apply these learnings to help my clients drive growth, enhance service delivery, and foster an inclusive, innovative culture in their organizations.
