At Carrot-Top Industries, our mission is simple: to provide our customers with top-quality products that help them showcase pride and community spirit. To give you an inside look at the individuals behind our success, we’re kicking off our "Meet the Flag Pros" series, starting with our CEO, Liz Morris. Liz, who took over the business just before the COVID-19 pandemic, is the strategic force behind Carrot-Top’s operations. Each quarter, she selects a key area of focus to guide the company forward while stepping in to support various projects as needed. "When I first became CEO, the weight of responsibility for the team and company felt isolating," Liz shared when asked about the most rewarding aspect of her role. "It took time to build the team we have today, where we stand shoulder to shoulder, rowing in the same direction and holding each other accountable." Liz’s favorite flag is the Don’t Give Up the Ship flag. To her, it embodies the tenacity, perseverance, and resilience that define America. Stay tuned as we spotlight more of the incredible Carrot-Top team—from leadership all the way to the team members who ensure every order is processed, packed, and delivered with care. Friday Figuring #44 - Dreaming up On LightSpray As On continues to rally around #dreamtogether, here is the latest film of that series, and this one speaks to the internal dreaming, the tinkering, driving to a DIY Store aka Baumarkt to drive performance innovation, together. Love this piece and love the potential that it holds. Can we spray shoes for customers individually and on location in the future? Can we apply this to the most-sold franchises in the future, thus massively reducing footprint of production and transportation from Asia? On’s innovation department will keep tinkering and in Marketing we are looking for ways to create the demand, make the customer understand what this could unlock and also how we could bring it closer to each one this summer…more to come! Does it work in performance? If you paid attention you will already know - Helen Obiri won the Boston Marathon in a CloudBoom Strike "LS" this year. Watch this one here to understand what LS stands for. #dreamOn #dreamtogether #ONwards It’s 8min long and it is worth the watch: https://lnkd.in/dV7rAjTq

Full circle moment for me. I’ve been in Raindrop’s orbit since 2019. Watching their meteoric rise led by the legend Jacques Spitzer has been beyond inspiring. They’re behind some of the biggest breakout brands in consumer these last few years. Had the absolute pleasure getting to talk DTC to retail with the man himself. Grateful for the opportunities to share lessons from the industry I love! Link to episode in comments, let me know what you think!

Today marks the end of the first chapter in my entrepreneurship journey. Did it end the way I envisioned? No. Would I make some different choices if I could? Likely. But would I trade this experience? Not for anything. The goal was simple yet ambitious: to help people move abroad more smoothly—especially to Germany. This journey started in 2020, after over four years of my own expat experience. A chance encounter with Christine James at a brunch sparked a conversation about building a company to support expats moving to Germany. She had the same idea, and soon we joined forces, inviting Gabrielle Soria, and launched Jetztpat within a few short months. Starting a company in Germany felt like the expat experience on steroids, but we successfully set up our GmbH and quickly connected with companies in need of our services. The market was there, ripe and waiting, and we took off running. In early 2023, Gabrielle and I decided to branch off and focus on creating a digital product tailored directly for the individual moving abroad. Worldify GmbH was born in March, and we poured ourselves into building that vision with the help of the brilliant Leonard Kinzinger. Then, right on the cusp of launch, we hit a wall. Bootstrapping could only take us so far. Investors hesitated, and angel funding was elusive. Grants were out of reach since we’d already been founders. We needed a CTO. We were stuck. The vision had always been to offer people the support we so desperately needed during our own moves. But we refused to launch a product only to pull back on delivering that essential support. And so, we stopped. Just like that, the first chapter of my entrepreneurship journey came to a close. I’ve filed away my binder of ideas and company documents (a binder—true German integration!). It’s a bittersweet moment, but I’m deeply grateful for every lesson along the way. The problem remains, and I’ll continue to cheer on Jetztpat and every other company tackling it! For me, this is the end of a chapter, not the book. Another idea is already taking shape, now fortified with four years of invaluable experience. Thank you—from the bottom of my heart—to everyone I met during Chapter 1. I hope to see many of you in the next! 🌎 🙏
After an incredible journey, we’ve made the tough decision to shutter Worldify. While it’s not the outcome we had hoped for, we’re proud of what we built and the milestones we achieved along the way. A huge thank you to everyone who supported us—we couldn’t have come this far without you. ☀ That goes especially to Leonard Kinzinger, Anna Juhász, Isabel Campos Klotz, and Mary Kate Hogan—your dedication, passion, and belief in our product made this ride worthwhile. We’re excited about what the future holds for everyone involved. This isn’t goodbye, just the start of something new. With gratitude, Gabrielle + Britt 🔵 🌎

What Are Your Seven Words? Recently, I had the privilege of hearing Harry S. Campbell speak at Kansas City B2B. His message was not only inspiring but also profoundly impactful. One key takeaway was his Seven Words About Me exercise (sevenwordsaboutme.com). It’s a simple yet powerful way to see how others perceive you and gain deeper self-awareness. I decided to try it out for myself, asking people in my network to describe me using just seven words. The responses were eye-opening and reaffirming, giving me a clearer picture of how my actions and values resonate with those around me. This experience has been invaluable for my personal growth, and I encourage everyone to give it a try—you might be surprised by what you learn! For anyone seeking a dynamic, authentic, and energizing speaker, I can’t recommend Harry S. Campbell enough. He’s genuine, relatable, and full of wisdom, and a conversation with him will leave you feeling both inspired and recharged. If you're looking for someone to spark ideas and transformation, Harry is the person to connect with. So, here’s a question for you: If you had to describe yourself in seven words—or ask others to describe you—what would those words be? Let’s start a conversation! #SelfAwareness #Leadership #Growth #SevenWordsAboutMe #Inspiration

I haven't gotten around to sharing this recap video, excuse my tardiness. I also haven't gotten around to the year-end post, or the start of the new year one. And I might be too late for all that now. Let me instead talk about the reality of owning and running an agency. Let me talk about never getting it close to 100% no matter how hard you try. Let me tell you that between the work and rewards, there are many moments in a day that I find myself sat there wondering "how could I have done this better - what if I had made decision A instead of B?" The truth is the self reflection is never-ending and fortunately (or not) the pursuit to perfection persists - but there is one thing that makes it all worth while - the people who work along-side you towards the common goal, I refer to them as Dotties - the people who literally have made Team Red Dot what it is today. And there would be no Red Dot without our extremely future forward clients and partners who entrust us with their brands, year after year. That's what has truly kept us growing with the flow for the last 15 years. So to me, this video encapsulates exactly why we exist. Winning for ourselves, winning for the team, and winning for our clients - onwards and upwards - with lots of fun along the way, always!
A little walk down memory lane! Here’s a quick recap of all the fun, wins, and everything in between that made this year unforgettable. 🥂 Cheers to chasing even greater milestones ahead. #Teamreddot #Happynewyear #OnwardsAndUpwards #bigmomentsahead
