🏫 From Nov.19 to 22, 2024, the Platform of Vocational Excellence Water meeting in South Africa will bring together experts, #PolicyMakers, and stakeholders to tackle critical #WaterManagement challenges and explore innovative solutions. 🎤 Professor Burtram (Bertie) Fielding welcomed the team at Stellenbosch University's Faculty of Science, where the three-day meeting is being held. 📢 Pieter Hoekstra and Erna van der Werff outlined the meeting’s objectives, which include: ✔️Strengthening the #PoVEWater partnership and fostering a dedicated team. ✔️ Exploring the #innovation ecosystem of the Western Cape and the role of Stellenbosch University's Water Institute. ✔️ Exchanging global expertise to address South African water challenges while identifying local examples relevant to the project’s work packages. ✔️ Reviewing progress, planning future activities, and defining concrete actions for all partners to advance the project’s goals. 🚰 This event will serve as a platform for sharing knowledge, discussing cutting-edge innovations, and shaping #sustainable #water management strategies.
