Ceramic fiber blankets or boards: These lightweight, flexible refractory materials are often used as additional insulation layers within the boiler, further enhancing heat retention. The refractory lining helps to maintain the high temperatures necessary for the efficient operation of the boiler. By minimizing heat loss through the boiler walls, the refractory materials ensure that the heat generated by the fuel source (such as coal, natural gas, or oil) is effectively transferred to the water or steam within the boiler, improving the overall efficiency of the system.
