If you had to go back to school today- would you ? How did school make you feel ? In the words of Maya Angelou “ people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” How we feel about a place, a system and a community impacts if and how much we learn. I spend a lot of time thinking about my workshop participants and their learning needs. But it occurs to me that we don’t do this in schools or at work - it’s BORING! Isn’t it about time we reinvented a system that was created 137 years ago ? Isn’t it about time we included those who are neurodivergent? People who deserve to have meaningful work and careers , but are hamstrung by this narrow and frankly outdated model ? Do we actually even agree with this norm we have been accepting? My job is to inspire my participants, to take them on a trip to the future of AI .
