Pharos is celebrating 20 years in control in 2024... Here we are reminiscing on how Pharos LPCs and Designer software accommodated the explosion in LEDs. Since the beginning, Pharos LPCs were scalable; if you needed more channels, more LPCs - and eventually LPC Xs - could be added to the same Designer project for a seamless, distributed control system , acting as one. Remote devices let you add connections and protocols to customise your perfect show control solution. In 2016 we introduced the VLC family controllers to address the even larger eDMX LED pixel screens that were getting specified. All part of the Designer scalable system, we had one software platform for every project: from one to thousands of universes. And did you know you pay for the channels, not for the universe?
