***Embracing Diverse Entertainment: A Perspective*** In today’s digital age, it’s fascinating to observe the varied reactions to different types of entertainment. Recently, I noticed a significant amount of criticism directed at certain shows like "call me bae" on social media platforms like Reddit. Personally, I find these shows to be light-hearted and enjoyable, much like “Emily in Paris” or “2 Broke Girls.” It seems somewhat unfair that while traditionally male-oriented entertainment like WWE or action movies are often enjoyed without much scrutiny, content aimed at young women or girls is frequently analyzed under a microscope. These shows are not trying to be cinematic masterpieces like “Citizen Kane” or “The Godfather,” and they shouldn’t be judged as such. We should celebrate the diversity in entertainment and respect everyone’s preferences. As Taylor Swift once mentioned, we shouldn’t shame people for what they enjoy. Let’s allow everyone to enjoy their chosen form of entertainment without unnecessary criticism.

This really speaks to the heart of basic customer service. If you care about customers, you'll make it as easy to cancel as it is to sign up for a subscription. Why? If you get incremental sales from making it hard to cancel, you get upset customers that will never want to buy from you again. I can think of several examples where this has happened to me and I see so many requests from customers desperate for a way out in the community marketing@companyname.com accounts that I know it's just bad business. Compare this to companies that care about your long-term value as a repeat customer. Leave a positive memory and they'll come back. I'm only willing to sign up for new Amazon subscriptions because they remind me before my next shipment and make it easy for me to defer or cancel. Sometimes I forget and get something I didn't need, but I know I was given adequate notice and I don't feel cheated. That goes a long way to retaining me as a customer for decades.
I don't always get my news from WorldStar HipHop... But it's where I found out about this first! What are everyone's thoughts on this one? Lina Khan has been trying to pass a version of this for over a year now... For obvious reasons, I am not a fan of this...

THE SWIFT EFFECT -- After 149 shows, The New York Times reports that over 10m people attended Taylor Swift's Eras Tour — selling over $2b in tickets. Swift gave out nearly $200m in bonuses to everyone working the tour — including truck drivers, caterers, instrument techs, merch team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, riggers, hair, make-up, wardrobe, physical therapists and video team — PEOPLE Magazine | PEOPLE.com confirms. A global tour that impacted not just on US GDP, but the surge in economic activity from her tour in the UK alone has estimated to have injected around £1 billion into the UK economy. Plus according to Apex Marketing reports Swift has effectively generated an additional $331.5m in brand value for the KC Chiefs and National Football League (NFL)

Owner of Savannah Bananas, Creator of Banana Ball, Author of Fans First & Find Your Yellow Tux, Keynote Speaker
This young kid stole the show this weekend. Possibly the greatest home run hitter we've ever seen. This is what I love about being in the live entertainment business, you never know what is going to happen. I had no idea he was going to go airborne like this and then to see all the players improv and go down when he landed on home, was just amazing to watch. P.S. He's already on our must watch list for a future Banana ball player. Born entertainer.
