Laser deposition brazing at a laser researcher conference? The Stuttgart Laser Days 2024 are a significant conference in the field of photonics and laser technology, with a clear focus on beam sources. I have great respect for presenting at an event with such a specific focus, as my topic is the application of laser technology. My presentation will cover the manufacturing of industrial plain bearings using laser technology. A particular highlight is a hybrid bearing that combines bronze and tin. This innovative method significantly enhances the performance and lifespan of the bearings. Despite my preparation, I wonder how my presentation will be received. Will attendees, primarily interested in the latest developments in beam source technology, also show interest in practical applications like the manufacturing of plain bearings? I hope that the practical and industrial benefits achieved through the use of laser technology will capture the participants' interest. Especially the hybrid bearing, which combines the advantages of bronze and tin, could be intriguing for many and lead to engaging discussions.

Reach out to me for the full resolution poster on #diffraction #gratings for #euv #lithography! How can blazed diffraction gratings improve EUV systems? Blazed reflection gratings are high-throughput spectral filters at EUV wavelengths. Inprentus #blazed gratings with their serial write process can combine dispersion and imaging into a single optic giving EUV equipment a much needed boost in efficiency, resolution and compactness.
Inprentus gratings generated a lot of at the 2024 EUVL workshop and supplier showcase at The Center for X-ray Optics at the Berkeley Lab from June 2-6, 2024. Thank you and congratulations to EUV Litho, Inc., Vivek Bakshi for a well-attended conference. We are very excited to be able to provide optics for an exciting and emerging field!! Here is a well-received poster made and presented the very talented Samuel Gleason. Reach out to us to see how we at Inprentus blazed gratings can make your EUV system brighter and better!!! #blazedgratings #mechanicalruling #euvlithography #euv

The major trend in the space industry is to make the spaceflights cheaper by making at least parts of rockets re-usable, with the well-known examples of SpaceX and Blue Origin paving the way. To make things even better, at Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) we developed the technology of #laserignition, and the name says it all: it ignites the propellant mixture in the rocket engine chamber with a focused laser pulse. So how is it better than a regular pyro-torch or spark plug? Because it is lighter, more reliable, the parts do not degrade due to the aggressive environment in the chamber, and can be used to re-ignite in-flight. And of course, what can be cooler than launching a rocket into space with a laser? To reduce costs even further, we have developed a fiber distribution system, which sends laser pulses to multiple points inside the chamber and in any sequence, using just one laser. Are you looking to improve the cost and reliability of your engine? Meet me and Thomas Ladstätter at the European Space Agency - ESA Industry Space Days!
Most people in the space industry know Silicon Austria Labs for its unique Laser Ignition Technology for rocket engines - but we have much more to offer! Visit us at our Austria in Space booth (C25 & B26) at the European Space Agency - ESA Industry Space Days (18.09.-19.09.) in Noordwijk/NL. Together with my colleague Dmitry Tabakaev, PhD we will give you insights on how your application can profit from: - Fibre Distributed High Power Lasers - Next Gen Photonic Sensors and MEMS - Printed Electronics - Characterisation & Environmental Validation See you soon in Noordwijk!
