Well, socially, it might be suicide to cram your food in your cheeks like a squirrel headed for winter. However, some bodies thrive on the “stock up” method of eating. Get those nutrients in early, then let your gut do the work, providing all-day fuel. Other bodies like the slow build from a light morning to a heavier evening. Still other bodies need a continuous rhythm throughout the day to keep the brain fuelled and ready for action. Knowing which way your body thrives can make a difference across all areas of life. When we are properly fuelled in the exact rhythm our body needs, we enjoy more energy, greater clarity, sunnier outlooks and more productivity.

Overcome brain fog in just 3 simple steps. Fast forward to 4pm today… How do you think your energy, clarity of thought and productivity will be looking? Not the best, I bet. You wouldn’t be reading this if it wasn’t an issue for you. So, here’s three simple steps to help overcome that; 1️⃣ Cut out caffeine within the first 90-120 minutes of the day. Replace with water. 2️⃣ Cut down on processed foods where you can. Our bodies thrive off naturally found foods. Pro tip: look at the packet (sign no.1) and if there’s more than one ingredient it’s processed. 3️⃣ Limit alcohol use as much as possible. To put it in the most simple terms possible - there’s no benefit to consuming alcohol for your body. I’ve got a bonus step for you that can take things up another level. Alter your work station so that you can switch between sitting and standing. This change in body position will massively help to get out of the “slump” mid afternoon. Enjoy.

Easy ways to improve your focus 1. Sit alone and stare at a wall for four minutes. 2. Eat food without a mobile phone. 3. Watch sunset and sunrise without a phone. 4. Write a handwritten journal. 5. Practice nasal breathing for 6 to 9 minutes. 6. Eat a healthy, high-protein breakfast to reduce brain fog.

I spent years fighting fatigue with coffee, not realizing I was just chronically dehydrated. The breakthrough came when I noticed my best days always started with proper hydration. Not just water - but water with electrolytes. This changed everything. First surprise: morning headaches disappeared when I added salt to my water. By week two, my energy was stable all day. No more mid-morning crashes. My focus improved dramatically. Tasks that used to drain me became easier. Here's what shocked me: I needed less caffeine. Two cups of coffee became one. Most people are walking around dehydrated without knowing it. Clear urine isn't the full story. The game-changer was adding electrolytes first thing in the morning, not just after exercise. I tracked my intake: a pinch of salt and minerals in my morning water made a bigger difference than expensive supplements. Headaches? Usually dehydration. Afternoon fatigue? Same story. My workout performance improved immediately. Recovery time cut in half. Now I keep it simple: water with minerals throughout the day, not just plain water. Three months in, my energy is consistently better than my coffee-fueled days. Even my skin looks better. But the mental clarity is the biggest win. __ Enjoy this? ♻ Repost it to your network and follow Riley Jarvis for more. Want my cheatsheet to help with the above? It is written "Man does not live by bread alone". However, most people do not understand this. Personally, I eat very little. I call myself - Energy Saving Bulb; uses very little energy to produce maximum results. In normal day in the past, I eat only One meal a day as part of my lifestyle. However, late June, I decided to embark on the experience of 5 days of full fast without any solid food and only on liquid diet. Then on weekends, I eat only One meal. I have survived One month doing just that. In short, I took only Eight meals in one month or about 3 days meal of a normal person. Actually, even the one meal I take, the amount is also less than normal people. So did I loose a lot of weight? Did I feel weak? .....will be some of the questions people will be asking. Actually, I did not loose much weight; only some fats at my face...ha ha. As for energy, I feel much energetic and does not have what people experience after lunch - Food Coma. Some people asked whether will get gastric or not.....So far, I do not feel hungry or have gastric. I guess everything is in the mind. If you just continue doing your daily work, and do not go about thinking about food, then your body will adjust accordingly. Our body is an amazing system that can adapt very well, including developing anti-bodies to fight viruses on its own without any human medication or intervention.

You know that feeling— Sluggish, weighed down by yesterday’s stress, and just wishing for a way to break free. The answer could be as simple as taking a break from eating. Back in February 2024, I challenged myself with a 72-hour water fast, aiming to make it a quarterly habit. But my second attempt didn’t go as planned. I only made it 48 hours before stomach cramps kicked in. I knew something wasn’t right, so I broke the fast. Within 30-45 minutes of eating, the discomfort subsided. I didn’t let that setback stop me. I discovered... That adding a little soluble fiber and some salt to my water could make a big difference. I learned that taking some MCT oil was okay. This weekend, I started my third fast—and it was a game-changer. No more cramps, no more discomfort. Fasting sounds intense. But it’s really about giving your body the chance to reset and tap into its hidden potential. When done right, Fasting can be your secret weapon to achieving the breakthrough you’ve been longing for. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. It’s about finding what works for your unique body and your unique life. Some benefits are - cellular repair - improved insulin sensitivity - weight loss - reduction in inflammation. But it’s not just about losing weight. It’s about gaining clarity, boosting your energy, and feeling in control again. I feel more energized, clear-headed, and lighter—physically and mentally. Maybe it’s time to consider fasting. When tailored to your needs, it’s a powerful tool.

Want to crush your day and keep your brain firing on all cylinders? Here’s how you can optimize your energy levels for peak productivity and critical thinking all day long. Don’t forget to move—quick stretches or walks get your blood flowing and boost brain power. Remember to take regular breaks. Spring is here and it's getting warmer outside. But many of us haven't had a chance to acclimate to the changing temperatures, which means our bodies will be less efficient at heat regulation and more susceptible to dehydration. Just a 1% drop in body weight from lost water negatively affects the muscles, spinal discs, cartilage, and even brain function. Here are a few simple tips to optimize performance as things heat up: 1. Be mindful of caffeine and alcohol intake. Both accelerate the rate at which we lose water and often cause you to start your day already dehydrated. 2. Divide your body weight in half - that's a rough guide for how many ounces of water you should drink daily. Adjust upward to compensate for activity or exposure to hot, humid weather. 3. Don't wait until you're thirsty - by then, you're already 2-3% dehydrated! Remember these tips as you work to beat the heat this spring!
