Our new paper, "Consent in Crisis: The Rapid Decline of the AI Data Commons" is discussed on Yahoo Finance 🤯🤯 Over the past year, many key web sources have restricted the use of their data, sparking what we term an "emerging crisis in consent." Our study examined 14,000 web domains and found that 5% of all data, and a staggering 25% of high-quality data, has been restricted. 🚫💾 This tightening access impacts not only AI companies but also researchers, academics, and non-commercial entities relying on public datasets. I’ve been experimenting with Agents and MySQL, and it's incredible to think of how accessible data could become with the right setup. Imagine being able to query your data naturally and getting direct answers. Looking ahead, I see a future where fleets of specialised Agents, each with its own discrete expertise, are coordinated by a Supervisor or Meta Agent. It’s a powerful concept—these Agents working seamlessly together to handle complex tasks efficiently. I’m keen to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible today, and I can only imagine what’s yet to come. Exciting times ahead!
