What is CBRS 2.0? •CBRS Band: 3550-3700 MHz (Band) has been assigned by the FCC for use with Private Networks in the continental US •Shared access spectrum with primary incumbents: US Government & Fixed Satellite Systems •Three tiers: Incumbents, PALs, GAA •GAA (General Authorized Access) is Licensed by Rule - 30 MHz in 3550-3650 MHz, 50 MHz in 3650-3700 MHz & opportunistic use for any PALs not in use. •PALs (Priority Access Licensees) acquired by FCC auction (105) – Held in 10 MHz channels by county (Max of 4 10 MHz channels per owner) •CBRS 2.0 just went live in August of 2024, and it has significantly relaxed restrictions to increased where CBRS can now be utilized in the US.
