The Value of Certifications: Why I Pursue Them and What They Mean for My Career 🤔 ???? In today's fast-paced tech industry, staying relevant and up-to-date with the latest technologies is crucial. I've completed numerous certifications in Azure and Google Cloud, and many people often ask me why I invest so much time and effort into these credentials. I want to share my thoughts on this and offer some guidance on the role certifications can play in your career. Personal Motivation and Company Support 🤝 . I work for one of the top IT organization in India.where we regularly have access to training programs for Azure, GCP, Oracle, Redhat and AWS Participating in these programs not only keeps me engaged and learning but also provides opportunities to earn vouchers for certification exams. This support from my company has enabled me to pursue multiple certifications. Skill Showcase and Career Advancement 💡. Certifications serve as a formal recognition of your skills and knowledge. They demonstrate your commitment to professional growth and can significantly enhance your resume. While a few key certifications can open doors to new opportunities, they are not the sole determinant of success. In my experience, the journey of learning and mastering new technologies is just as important as the credentials themselves. Advice for Freshers and Professionals 🌟. For those just starting in the industry or looking to switch fields, obtaining a few foundational certifications can be beneficial. For example, if you're interested in cloud technologies, you might start with: - Azure ☁ Level 1: AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals). Level 2: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator). AZ-204 (Azure Developer). Level 3: AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer) or AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect). - GCP ☁ Level 1: Associate Google Cloud Certified. Level 2: Professional Google Cloud Certified. Level 3: G Suite Google Cloud Certified. Level 4: Additional Certification, Google Cloud Certified. (Apigee, Associate Android Developer, Mobil Web Specialist). - AWS ☁ Level 1: AWS Certified SysOps Associate. Level 2: AWS Certified Developer Associate. Level 3: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate. AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate. These certifications provide a structured path to gaining the necessary skills and can make you more attractive to potential employers. Final Thoughts 🤔 . While certifications are valuable, they should complement your practical experience and on-the-job learning. They are tools to enhance your knowledge and credibility, but they are not a substitute for real-world experience. I hope this provides some clarity on why I pursue certifications and how you can strategically use them to advance your own career.
