#NEWLinkedInFeature [Creation analytics] providing Members the ability to slice and analyze the Posts, Polls, Videos, but not Articles or Newsletters. On Tuesday Tomer Cohen, Chief Product Officer at LinkedIn said "Very soon, creators will be able to get analytics on their individual posts, specifically: total counts for reactions, comments, shares, post views, article views & video plays as well as demographic metadata for the latter three. Stay tuned for upcoming releases to measure audience and engagement performance." Yesterday, Wednesday Dec 16th 2021, [Creation analytics] appeared on my content. One day, that is "Very soon!" #KeepRockingLinkedIn! Kevin D. Turner @ TNT Brand Strategist LLC #LinkedInTips #LinkedInStrategy #PersonalBranding #NEWLinkedInFeature #TNTBrandStrategist
I have the feature, have rung several bells, and have received zero notifications, even when I know someone has posted because I checked. LinkedIn Help suggested I look at my privacy/communication settings. I had getting notifications when connections post turned off. I experimented with turning it on. That yielded 6 notifications this morning, 1 from a rung bell and 5 from random connections. I'm pretty sure more than 6 people in my 20K-person network have posted since I flipped the switch. Thus, that algo doesn't appear to work as presented either. Given my experience so far, I'm curious to know if anyone has had success with the bell feature. Are you getting the notifications LI promises you when you ring bells?
If my content resonates and has a positive impact, then I’m good. If my content gets me ROI interms of generating leads, then I’m good. I just refuse to be bugged down with numbers and analytics that in all honesty will cause me more anxiety that I just don’t need or want. I’m done playing the numbers games on LinkedIn Kevin D. Turner . #JustSaying #JustMyThoughts because at the end of the day, what works for me may not for you and vice versa!
Quite fascinating! Naturally, I still have no bell and just before seeing this post, just commented on someone else's bell post about how I'll likely be among the last wave in these rollouts. All said, not holding my breath hee hee 😁 Many thanks for the info, as always Kevin 🙏
Knowing what lands and what flops is always useful for your content marketing approach Kevin D. Turner. I wish their was a "boost" button to press on occasion to get your content to some new people.
FINALLY! Great move to see native options for analytics.
Analytics are always interesting! I’ve never really looked deeply into my analytics, but in 2022, I will Kevin. Thanks for sharing!
Great spot Kevin - now could they please allow the API to export individuals' post performance data so it's possible to collate how a whole company is doing. That would be really great!
Hmmmm I don’t seem to have it yet. I do love stats though so this could be very useful.

3yYou step away from LinkedIn for one minute and look what happens Kevin. This is good information and is bringing LinkedIn metrics up to where they should be! It would be great if we could export the information in one chart, I don't suppose you know if this is likely, Kevin?
