I wholeheartedly agree that Anchor Health Hospitals, especially those in large and mid-sized cities, are vital not only for the community's health also for its economic wellbeing. These hospitals and healthcare systems are breeding grounds for some of our most talented individuals. Their groundbreaking innovations have significantly outweighed the investments made by these communities. It's crucial to recognize their value and ensure they receive support from local communities, businesses, and government agencies. This paper's recommendations are commendable, highlighting a crucial aspect of our healthcare system. When executed correctly, these steps will distinctly position us as global leaders in citizen healthcare. The authors deserve praise for bringing attention to this vital issue. #HealthcareInnovation #CommunityHealth #EconomicWellbeing #AnchorHealthHospitals #HealthcareLeadership #SupportLocalHospitals #HealthcareInvestment #GlobalHealthLeaders #CommunitySupport #GovernmentPartnerships kudos Bruce Siegel

The key to achieving improved health outcomes in your community is not just creating an IMPROVEMENT PLAN, but making sure it is IMPLEMENTED🌟 If implementation was straightforward, it would happen every time, but the fact is there are many players involved in achieving improved health outcomes in a community, and the process is NOT easy. At Moxley Public Health we are experienced in the process of taking knowledge to action - listen to our CEO Stephanie Moxley talk about strategies we use to support our clients in successful implementation post CHNA/CHIP development in the video below and DOING THE STRATEGIES of the IMPROVEMENT PLAN ⬇️

What we see a lot: communities working very hard and allocating a lot of resources (time, lots of money, etc.) to collecting data for a health assessment and then developing the improvement plan… but then NOT implementing or carrying out the improvement plan! I know that this is because of lack of staff capacity, not enough time, lack of processes, lack of funding (and NOT because people don’t want to make those improvements or have the desire to see them completed). This is just something to be aware of and to talk about. We are trying to do our best to support our clients to reduce the above barriers and help communities be more successful and carry out their improvement plan for their community. See the video below where I talk about this. (Feel free to share your thoughts and other ways that could help reduce this issue of not carrying out the improvement plan…)

World Health Day 2024 focuses on 'My Health, My Right,' emphasizing health as a universal right. In our roles, we have the power to influence and advocate for policies and practices that ensure access to health services for all. Let's use this day to commit to actions that promote health equity and access. Share your initiatives or thoughts on how we can work together to realize this fundamental right. #WorldHealthDay2024
