Last year, I posted a little reminder to job seekers not to hit pause on their search during the holiday season. And guess what? The same advice still holds true—not just for job seekers, but for those of us hiring! I know this time of year can feel like everything slows down, but here’s the thing: hiring doesn’t stop. In fact, we have job offers going out today and into next week! Sure, there might be a few more out-of-office emails (mine goes live Monday!) and things might move a bit slower, but job postings are still going up, interviews are still happening, and job offers are still being made. Companies are actively preparing for Q1, which means they’re looking for talent now to hit the ground running in January. And don't forget—job seekers are still out there, checking LinkedIn, replying to messages, and eager to connect. This time of year can actually work in your favor: It’s often easier to network during the holidays when people are feeling festive and open to chatting.
