On 14th December 2023, HHJ Pearce KC handed down his judgment in the case of OCS Group UK Limited v Community Health Partnerships Limited. The judgment has significant implications for public procurement and the disclosure of documents in English law. The key takeaway is that seriously arguable errors in one part of the evaluation are likely to be regarded as capable of supporting an application for disclosure relating to other, different, elements of the evaluation. What happens behind closed doors?! Black Country Integrated Care Partnership meetings were always held in public. I attended all of them, actively participating, listening and asking questions to better understand what and how ICP is working towards. After the last one, I emailed them saying that I felt that Eastern European Community is not being represented in their strategies and asked how I can get the seat at the table. They politely declined, saying the table is full. This month they decided to NOT give the public opportunity to participate for the first time this year! ❓What happens behind closed doors? ❓What is being discussed, that the public is not meant to hear? ❓How did they make that decision? More questions than answers! The next one is planned for January, unless they will not allow the public to participate again. #integratedcare #partnership #NHS #localauthority #publicinterest #blackcountry #representation #outcomes #community #meeting #

💫 The way associations connect their members is evolving. You could argue that connecting members is the primary function and the very reason for a professional association’s existence. Associations typically connect their members only a few days a year, through physical events such as conferences. However, interaction and connection between members are abruptly cut off after the event (“See you next time!”). Consequently, member engagement also ends abruptly, which can reduce long-term involvement and commitment to the association. How are you engaging your members to interact in between events? 👉 Read more: https://buff.ly/4eOoyGd #associations #community #memberengagement

You Can Talk To The Willing Using 3 Answers Hello, my name is Rick Robertson. I’m the founder of the mate3.com network. This network is made of people who want to help others based on firsthand experiences. Mate3 is building the largest shipping and receiving system for organized responses to 3 formatted firsthand answers. Mate3 is using a new way of organizing that starts from a communication relationship with the network partners. In the mate3 network many of us want to support the causes, solutions, advocacy, and aspirations of those that use the partnership. Mate3 networking starts when the 3 firsthand answers about what happened are received. The community communication partnership starts from a mutual agreement to have a limited communication of 3 firsthand answers. The partnership is an agreement to have communication exchange within mutually agreed guidelines and policies. The purpose of the partnership is to invite, receive, and format incoming firsthand accounts of what happened for organizing, advocacy and problem solving. The value of this partnership is derived from the services provided to those who are taking part. The partnership is an investment in (1) the people who have answers to 3 questions about what happened to them. (2) the people that can get other people to agree on how and who to tell what happened to them in advance. The partnership function is to enjoin the persons or organizations that have a productive response to a partner’s firsthand account of what happened. When there is no productive response, it is our policy to let those with the 1st party experience start a first-step productive response.
