🖨 Inkjet printers are a real revolution in the world of printing. Remember the old, noisy dot matrix printers? Everyone dreamed of something quieter and better. Three inkjet printing methods were born: piezoelectric, gas bubble and drop-on-demand. IBM led the way with the first inkjet printer in 1976, and soon Canon, Epson and Hewlett-Packard made this technological breakthrough available to everyone. 👩💻 Now we can enjoy quiet, fast and crisp printing without even thinking that decades of scientific discovery and technological advancement are behind this simplicity! #print #printservices #history #printmanagement #Princity

The history of printers: a logical progression. 🖨 Dot-matrix printers were a logical development of petal printers, using dot-matrix printing. They use a similar printing principle. However, characters are formed from a series of dots. "Any character and any image can be formed from dots" is the main principle of dot matrix printers. 👩💻 The first such printer was created by Seiko Epson in 1964, and in the 1970s Centronics Data Computer released a successful model that quickly conquered the market. Epson printers have become particularly popular thanks to their collaboration with IBM. Dot matrix printers show how innovation changes the world of printing and remain an important part of its history. #print #printservices #history #printmanagement #Princity

🔍 #TriviaTuesday: Did you know about the origins of thermal inkjet printing? 🖨️ In 1957, Canon engineer Ichiro Endo developed the first thermal inkjet printer, a groundbreaking innovation that paved the way for the widespread use of inkjet technology we see today. This invention revolutionized the printing industry by providing a more efficient, precise, and affordable method for producing high-quality prints. Thermal inkjet technology works by heating tiny drops of ink to create vapor bubbles, which then propel the ink onto the paper. This process allows for incredible detail and clarity, making it a staple in homes and offices worldwide. It's amazing to think that a single innovation from decades ago has had such a lasting impact on the way we print today! Have you ever used an inkjet printer? Cobra (HD) HDLE Anilox Transfer Technology has been specifically developed to assist printers obtain higher print quality and improved definition, This advanced high definition anilox transfer technology has fundamentally been designed using an advanced open cell technology; We refer to as Cobra due to its snake like shape and configuration which allows for high density coverage while still accommodating finer screen printing. The uniqueness of this open cell shape allows for ink to be transferred more fluently, dramatically improving the amount of ink transferred to the cliché and substrate, visibly improving the density, opacity and overall print quality, while also offering very easy to clean cell technology due to its open cell configuration and structure meaning longer lifespan. #worldsnakeday #cobra #caeptyltd #anilox #aniloxtechnology #printingpackaging #flexo #flexography #innovation #corrugated #global #savings #quality #letsworktogether
