In today's video, our colleague Lena Strauch gives you a short overview about how it works: 1. Registration & slot booking in advance Register your vehicles online for access to the exhibition centre. Book time slots for loading and unloading. Add the drivers' details to your booking – they will be informed of the planned call-off via e-mail and/or SMS. 2. On-site check-in for drivers Upon arrival at the lorry parking area, the drivers register at the designated areas and receive a confirmation for the booked time slot with directions to the relevant loading yard. 3. Driving in & loading or unloading At the booked time, the drivers will receive a call (SMS/personal call) to enter the exhibition centre. After loading or unloading in the time slot, the vehicles check out and leave the venue. We’ve already wrapped up all the trade shows we attended this season with ACHEMA in June, but after the show is before the show! Right now we are already planning for the upcoming year, and we're excited to share that we've already finalized which shows we’ll be attending in 2025. So far, we have four shows planned: 11.02. - 14.02.2025 BIOFACH 03.05. - 08.05.2025 IFFA 18.05. - 22.05.2025 iba 23.09. - 25.09.2025 POWTECH We are looking forward to all of those, and it is one of the IFFA years next year! IFFA is among the events we’re always looking forward to as it feels like our “Hausmesse”. It holds that special place in our company’s history being one of the first trade shows we ever participated in a few decades ago. While our schedule is largely set, it's not out of the question that someone from our team may be supporting one of our agents at another show during the end of the year, just as Philip Glass did with our friends from AmTrade Systems, Inc. last week. When the organiser of tyre industry trade fair The Tire Cologne published the exhibitor list for this June’s event last week, we noted several high-profile absences. It appears we were too quick to the draw, as the exhibitor list has grown since first going public. While the list contained the names of 245 exhibitors on the day it was first went online, it grew to 273 exhibitors the next day, and as of Monday morning (25 March) stands at 288 exhibitor names. Members of The Tire Cologne team at organiser Koelnmesse told our sister publication Reifenpresse.de they’re working on the assumption that 300 exhibiting companies will have signed up by the time the tyre industry trade show starts on 4 June. One of the names joining the list in the past couple of days belongs to a company we’d already marked off as absent. The Michelin Group will exhibit at The Tire Cologne via its Euromaster distribution network. Announcing the upcoming engagement, Euromaster says it looks forward to presenting the European workshop chain’s “extensive and flexible” franchise concept in face-to-face meetings. Tyrepress.com recently reported that the Michelin Group, alongside Bridgestone and Goodyear, would not have an exhibition presence at the Cologne, Germany-based tyre industry show. https://lnkd.in/emuscKPK
