🚀 Exciting news from CreoSalus! They have been awarded a substantial grant of $857,315 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), specifically the National Institutes of Health and the National Cancer Institute. This funding will support their groundbreaking research on improving therapy for glioblastoma (GBM) patients through an innovative Convection Enhanced Delivery (CED) catheter. #SBIR #STTR #HealthcareInnovation 🔬 The project aims to enhance therapeutic coverage of GBM tumors using a novel CED catheter combined with molecular flow simulations software. This approach has shown promising preclinical results and has even obtained FDA 510K marketing clearance. The research will involve a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of this new system. #CancerResearch #MedicalInnovation 📅 This grant, classified as a Project Grant (B), will span over 36 months, starting from September 1, 2024, and ending on August 31, 2027.
