☕ Rejoice, it’s Friday! I'm here sipping my Costa coffee again, and I’m reminded of two things: 1️⃣ It’s still grim outside 🥶 2️⃣ But the nights are finally drawing out! 🌅 Friday always feels like a chance to pause (even briefly) and take stock. Small business owners like us juggle so much. Whether it's building strategies, fighting fires, trying to make some money and thinking ahead for the business and beyond. It can feel relentless at times😳 But that’s where I believe holistic financial planning comes into its own. For example : ✅ Supporting business growth ✅ Protecting your business (so you can sleep easier at night) ✅ And planning for the future, so retirement isn’t just a dream but a well-earned reality 🌟 So, why not grab a coffee and celebrate your small wins today. Whether it’s ticking off that to-do list, enjoying the brighter evenings, or simply finishing the week strong 💪. And if financial planning feels like a heavy lift on your to-do list, drop me a message. Here’s to Friday, brighter nights, and a great weekend 🎉 #InvaluableAdvice #holisticfinancialadvice #brighterevenings #fridayfeeling

Don’t Wait for January 1st – Start Building Momentum NOW! We’ve all heard it before: “I’ll start fresh in the new year!” But, waiting for a specific date to make a change often means you’re putting off the momentum you could build TODAY. Whether it’s hitting the gym, eating healthier, or organizing your finances, December is prime time to set the stage for success. Why? Because: 👉 Small steps add up. Even one or two positive changes now can create massive progress by January. 👉 You beat the crowd. While others are waiting for the ball to drop, you’re already ahead of the game. 👉 You train consistency. Building habits before the “new year rush” makes sticking with them so much easier. The same principle applies to your financial health. You don’t have to wait until 2025 to take control. Start reviewing your budget, setting goals, and building a plan today so you’re ready to hit the ground running next year. If you're not sure where to start, let’s talk. I specialize in helping professionals create clear financial roadmaps that align with their goals. Together, we can make 2025 your strongest financial year yet – but the foundation starts now. 📩 DM me to schedule a free financial consultation before the year ends. Let’s make 2025 a year you’re proud of! #FinancialFreedom #NewYearGoals #MomentumMatters #HealthyHabits

🚨 10 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗶𝗻 2024 – 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴? 🚨 With just over two months left to the year, it’s a perfect time to reflect and refocus on what we want to achieve before the year wraps up. Here are three intentional actions you can take to close out the year feeling empowered and ready for an incredible start to 2025. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆: 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 & 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻 💸 ✅Take a moment to review your financial goals and spending habits. ✅What patterns are helping you, and which are holding you back? ✅Aim to align your financial actions with your values, whether it’s creating a small savings goal or re-evaluating where your money flows each month. ✅This alignment builds clarity and a stronger relationship with your finances. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿: 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹 🎯 ✅What’s one impact or contribution you’d love to leave behind in your role before the year ends? ✅It could be taking on a project that aligns with your long-term aspirations, mentoring a junior colleague, or streamlining a process. ✅Focusing on this “legacy goal” will help you end the year with purpose and satisfaction. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹: 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 💼 ✅With the rush of the year-end approaching, it’s easy to overlook personal growth. ✅Set aside time each week for something that fuels you — whether it’s reading, learning a new skill, or reconnecting with people who uplift you. ✅Investing in yourself now will pave the way for a fulfilling new year. Remember, even small, consistent actions can lead to big transformations. 🌟 What are you committing to this week? #MondayMotivation #FinishStrong #FinancialFreedom #CareerGrowth #SelfInvestment

Friday Fun Financial Fact with ✨Steve MacLellan, P.Eng - The Financial Engineer✨ You already know that today, June 21, is the longest day of the year, but when tend to get a lot less accomplished in the summer months and spend a lot more. As we bask in the extended daylight, summer often tempts us into those lazy, hazy days where getting important work done feels extra challenging. But what if you could enjoy the summer and still be productive, maximizing both your time and your money? It’s possible with the right strategies. Here's my 2024 LinkedIn Rewind! 2024: The Year I Learned Wealth is More Than Money 💡 This year taught me that true wealth isn't just about dollars and cents – it's about having the courage to transform, even when the path isn't clear. After losing 100 lbs, navigating a divorce, and rebuilding my team at Heritage Financial Strategies, I've never been more convinced that financial planning is really life planning. 💪 🎇 What I discovered: Our most powerful investments are the ones we make in ourselves. When life tilts, our financial or health strategy needs to flex with us. My most meaningful moments this year weren't about spreadsheets, but about resilience: ➡️ "Coming Back Into the Light"was a moment where I learned that vulnerability is its own kind of strength. By sharing my journey openly, I connected with clients and the community in ways I never expected. https://lnkd.in/dKDrg4Cw ➡️ In "Unique Financial Stories", I reinforced our core belief: Every financial journey is deeply personal. We don't just manage money; we help people navigate life's most complex transitions. https://lnkd.in/drQgJwSW ➡️ "Celebrating Resilience" when I shared about my Mom reminded me that planning isn't just about retirement accounts – it's about preparing for life's unexpected chapters, whether that's a health challenge or a major personal shift. Even though it was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through, I now have so much more empathy for my clients and their shared experiences. At Heritage Financial Strategies, we doubled down on our mission: Making money fun, approachable, and human. We built our strongest team yet, expanded our financial education efforts, and continued proving that financial planning can be both strategic and deeply compassionate. Looking ahead to 2025: We're not just managing wealth. We're helping people design lives they're excited to live – with financial confidence as their foundation. 💪 To everyone navigating your own challenges or health journey: Your story matters. Your health journey and financial journey are a winding road, but just keep walking. You're stronger than you know! ✨ #financialplanning #LinkedInRewind #wemakemoneyfun

I want to save MORE money next year! Vague goals like this will take you nowhere in 2025. Instead, quantify every single goal into monetary terms. For example: "I want to save ₦2M by December 2025." ✅Now, This is Specific, Measurable, and Timebound! But here's the next question: Is saving ₦2M achievable? For someone earning ₦3M annually, this might be unrealistic. However, if you earn ₦4M or more annually, the goal becomes much more attainable. Many of us fail to achieve our goals because they are not Specific or Realistic! So my advice for next year? Quantify every goal on your list and ensure it aligns with your current income (not unplanned or potential earnings)! Quantifying my goals each year is how I have consistently achieved 💯of my financially driven goals. Setting 2-3 realistic and achievable goals is way better than rolling over 10 vague goals to 2026. In my last YouTube episode for 2024, I shared: 📌A breakdown of how I spent my income this year (feeding ranked 2nd!). 📌The goals I was able to achieve 📌Tips to help you conduct an end-of-year financial review. 📌How to set SMART financial goals that you can actually achieve next year. Click the link below to watch! https://lnkd.in/efUzv3Ji P.S. I want to end this year at 500 subscribers. If you found my content valuable this year, kindly subscribe to my channel🥰 I’ll be uploading a video every month in 2024 to help you stay on top of your finances. P.S.S. What financial goals are you setting for 2025? Vacation ranks 1st on my List!🫠 _________________ Repost ♻️ to help some set SMART Financial goals in the coming year. #FinancialGoalsfor2025

𝗠𝘆 𝗪𝗵𝘆: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗠𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 I remember her question like it was yesterday… Back in 2011, Amanda and I were newly married in our first apartment and she randomly asked me, "How do we know if we have enough money?". 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗼 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿. The best I could say was, "Well, there's money in the bank account." This might be obvious, but that wasn't quite good enough for an answer. I felt the weight of that hit me immediately. I thought, "I'm the provider for my wife and future family, I have to figure this out." 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄? This led me down a path nearly 14 years in the making of learning how to handle my own personal finances. Thankfully, I actually love this stuff and have a passion for helping others with theirs too. Over the next few posts, I will be sharing more about my "𝘄𝗵𝘆" 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆. I will share what helped me make changes in my own life, the struggles I have encountered and overcome, and how I help others make the same changes I have made. If you want to get started on your own "why" story, you don’t need to spend the next 14 years, like I did, figuring it out. I’ve taken all the trial and error from over the past one and a half decades and have created a streamlined financial framework to help you reach your financial goals. Those goals could be paying down debt, saving for a new house, preparing to send your kids off to college, or simply having more money to enjoy life, with less stress. My coaching provides the structure, systems and accountability to make it happen so much easier and faster than what I experienced doing it all on my own. The first step begins with a simple phone call. You can click the link below so we can connect and I can learn more about your own financial goals and we can determine if my coaching will be a fit to help you reach them. Schedule with me below 👇: https://lnkd.in/gy4DEKyv You are never too late to get started, just take the first step. #FinancialCoaching #MyWhyStory #GetStarted #YouCanDoThis #Journey #SHIFTfinancialcoaching
