Creative Brilliance Challenge of the Day. DIALOG – WITH INNER SELF. This challenge takes a writer to a deeper level. Take a few moments to just be quiet, to maybe meditate or just empty your mind. When you do this, you push the envelope of self. Now, take a few deep breaths then start a dialog with your inner self. How does it feel about what you’re writing? Does it love your WIP? Or is it indifferent? Does it have ideas for improvement? Does it feel the need to explode something, or push a character off a cliff? These revelations are fun and helpful. Play with your inner self a few moments before poising your fingers over the keyboard every day and watch what happens. #CreativeBrilliance #CreativeThinking #MindfulnessWriting #CreativeWriting

Life Experiences Shape Our Perspective Our experiences shape who we are. They teach us resilience, empathy, and compassion. They also show us the importance of following our own path, even if it leads us down unseen roads. Loving others is a beautiful part of life. Don't become invisible in your pursuit of love. Keep nurturing your passions, interests, and dreams. Be Seen, Be Heard, Be You The world needs your unique voice and perspective. Don't be afraid to be visible, to share your thoughts and feelings. The right people will see you, appreciate you, and love you for who you truly are. But Have you ever felt the urge to disappear, to become an invisible observer of your life? To peel back the layers of your relationships and see them in their purest form? I have. There's a certain allure to invisibility, a chance to witness the dynamics of our world without being judged. It's like pressing pause on life's chaotic symphony to hear the individual notes. Perhaps, in those moments of quiet observation, we could discover the true colors of our friendships, the depths of our connections, and the strength of our own spirit. It’s a thought-provoking concept, isn't it? To step outside the frame of your own life and examine it from a different perspective. It's a reminder that while we yearn for visibility, sometimes it's the invisible threads that hold our world together. What do you think? Have you witnessed the invisibility of others? Have you ever felt the pull of invisibility? Spring has sprung. 🌸 We invite you to step outside for this one. This is your sign to paint with all the colors of the wind, take your Claritin, and touch grass. 🤔 ASK YOURSELF • The natural world is often wiser than we are. It utilizes this wisdom to remind us of our own power. What moments have you experienced in nature that reflect this idea? • Like trees, our roots are the things that hold us steady and give us strength. Think about the aspects of your life that keep you grounded. What pieces of yourself or those around you support your ability to be resilient? • The changing of seasons is nature’s inevitable way of encouraging change within ourselves. How do you see yourself changing with the seasons? What parts of you stay the same? 🎧 LISTEN • "Cherry Blossoms" by Toi Derricotte 📖 READ • "Leaves" by Lloyd Schwartz • "How to Uproot a Tree" by Jennifer K. Sweeney ✏️ WRITE • Like Derricotte, write a poem about a connection you have with a type of tree and what that connection teaches you. • Like Sweeney, write a ‘how-to’ poem related to nature. Think about what focusing on mundane instructions can reveal about a greater meaning. • Like Schwartz, write a poem that focuses on what change looks like in nature and what those changes can tell us about ourselves. LEAH LARSON is a Nebraska native poet and student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. #resilience #nature #change #writingprompts #writing

🌲 As We Move Closer to Winter, Embrace Themes of Quiet and Solitude in Your Writing 🌲 As the world begins to slow down, let’s bring that sense of peace into our stories. Silence often speaks louder than words, so dive into those introspective moments with your characters. 🎯 Tip: The Power of Silence Writing silence can be transformative. Instead of dialogue, use subtle actions—pauses, glances, a character’s shifting posture—to express emotions that words can’t quite capture. 📝 Prompt: A Quiet, Introspective Moment Write a scene where your character finds themselves alone with their thoughts. Maybe they’re reminiscing by a fire, sipping tea, or simply looking out at the first frost. Let the quiet bring them clarity or stir up hidden feelings. 📣 Share Your Scene What quiet moment did your character experience? Share a snippet in the comments, and let’s celebrate these introspective journeys. #writingtips #writingcommunity #junieswadron #WriteYourHeartOut #WritingPrompt #CreativeJournaling #writewhereyouare

Life beyond a writer’s imagination! What a wasted life it is, to live at the mercy of a writer's imagination! to take refuge in pages and get trapped in chapters. to take pleasure in sentences ending in exclamations. to end your journey when a full stop demands. to leave an experience midway at the hands of an elipsis. when you can actually fall in love and romance life. when you can hold a face and kiss without turning the page. when you can listen to the heartbeat and feel the breath. when you can open your eyes and live a dream. when the deep dark woods are out there to welcome you. when the mountains are waiting for you to leave a trail. when the valleys are dying to echo your scream. when the rainbow is out there to share their colours. when the mist is waiting to kiss your face. when the dew drops are waiting at the edge of grass blades. when you can actually ride the waves and tame the tides. when your eyes can follow a sun setting in the horizon. when you can gaze at the stars and catch a falling one. when you can name a cloud and rename it in a while. when the grass is there to be rolled and to be rolled on. Why live at the mercy of a writer's imagination? #writer #imagination #figmentofimagination #words #life #poetry

A poem - Bozelos Panagiotis ***************** The wall Near the limits of your mind is a wall, tall, strong, unbreakable. Security reasons, you say, pure logic rules, everything is fine and in the right place. Suffering, sadness, pain, they don't pass the wall. Something is missing, you observe thinking how little are the colors, how bound the sky is, how limited the view of the world is. Human functions like, sensitivity, kindness, compassion, eros, love, joy, happiness, suffering, pain, dreams, hopes, fear, the full spectrum, where are them?, you think. Inside you you are revolting. Some cracks open on the wall, beyond your control, modifying a little the light and allowing a different understanding. You are changing. It is time to break down this wall, to gain the full human condition, you think. You smile and with wisdom you open the cracks completely, finally breaking down the wall. You feel different, you are becoming different. I must reconsider my mind principles, you think, to build a new and improved wall. Then, suddenly, for the first time you see a colorful bird flying, you hear unknown sounds from far away, you fear, hope and dream. No, I will not build a wall again, you think, moving towards freedom and reality. ********************* photo by Ayoub Aallagui Blog: https://lnkd.in/d7EiaGCd #poetry #love #poetrycommunity #quotes #writersofinstagram #poem #poet #writer #instagram #poetsofinstagram #lovequotes #life #poems #quoteoftheday #art #quote #thoughts #writing #shayari #follow #inspirationalquotes #quotestagram #instagood #poetrylovers #bhfyp #writersofig #motivation #like #loveyourself #wordporn

Let the shifting season inspire character growth and new beginnings in your writing. 🎯 Tip: Craft a Character Arc Like the Changing Seasons Consider creating a character whose journey mirrors the transitions of autumn. How might they evolve, especially when faced with obstacles? Think about how life’s challenges shape them, just as the seasons shape the world around us. ✨ 📝 Prompt: A Life-Altering Choice Write about a character standing on the edge of a big decision that could change their life forever. What emotions do they experience? How does the weight of this choice affect them?
