Every year, at Fullscript, we run a two day company-wide hackathon (2024 starts today). During the hackathon we transform ideas into shipped projects, showcasing our commitment to building the tools to power whole person health. Most importantly we inspire each other and make new friends. Here's a snippet from my North Start Email this time last year: Hackathons are generally a time in which we get inspired, we build culture, we have a lot of fun, and then go back to our day jobs. We go back to the plan we set at the start of the year and iterate on throughout. THIS WEEK… I can guarantee we will get inspired, we will build culture and we will have fun, but we won’t be going back to the same exact plan. We are the leaders in the market, we have a world-class team, we have a base of customers who love our company, and technology (AI/ML and diagnostics) has unlocked an opportunity to exponentially accelerate the value we can create for them. I believe this hackathon is going to showcase the potential in front of us and shape our future. I think it will showcase the best minds in whole person medicine solving really important problems together. I think it will remind us what we can do if we execute with urgency and focus. I think it will showcase a path to helping a lot of people get better, while strengthening our position as the market leader. For our Hack Week the leadership team is spending a day and a half making sure we have resources allocated in areas that we think will accelerate the most value for our customers and ensure we enable some of the things that inspire us at the end of this week. We recognize the urgency and critical importance of investing aggressively during a time when competition has these tools at their disposal and the agility to use them. We refuse to sit back and allow others to take the opportunity that is right in front of us, the opportunity that we have all worked so hard for. “Wanting to help people get better” and “wanting to be the best” coexist here at Fullscript. That’s the formula that makes us great. I can’t wait to see that formula in action this week. I am filled with excitement and anticipation. Here's to another epic event filled with groundbreaking ideas and transformative projects! #Innovation #FullscriptHackathon #AI #Teamwork #Leadership

Well, a year back, I organized and was part of the committee for the flagship event "Need for Code 2.0" hackathon organized by TSEC CodeTantra. It had been exciting to have a view behind the scenes, and I made some awesome memories with the team, including meeting Shreyans Jain and Varun Jajoo for the very first time! Later, that led me to being part of Team Access Denied, thanks to Vivaan Mansukhani for introducing me to them. Fast-forwarding to a year later, I plunged into the same hackathon, "Need for Code 3.0," but this time as a participant. Winning first place was nothing short of amazing, marking my 7th hackathon victory! 🏆 All the growth I had gone through, the new skills I acquired, and the people I met made this year so memorable. Our team, consisting of Varun Jajoo, Siddhima De, Nishant Patil, and myself, developed digitization of ration cards to eliminate inefficiencies in conventional systems. Our solution included: - IVR-based AI Order-taking System: Orders for rations could be placed online and offline, making it more accessible. - QR Code-enabled E-Ration Card: Allowing the user to track the transaction and status of their ration orders with ease. - NGO Volunteer-Based Delivery: Ration delivery using street maps for unprofessional volunteers. - Age-Adaptive User Interface: A design intuitive for elderly users or family heads. - Learning Modules: Quiz-based learning and curated YouTube videos to help build comprehension. - UPI for Door-to-Door Delivery: Secure transaction support for home deliveries. - Smart Inventory Management: AI-enabled management of food supplies to maintain optimal stock levels. - On-site Onboarding in Detail: Customized onboarding, considering household dependents and visitor frequencies for accurate food usage estimates. We aimed to replace cumbersome paper ration books with an efficient e-ration card system, overcoming barriers like language differences and poor road conditions. This journey has been one of rewarding growth and innovation, and I must say that I am really proud of all we have achieved! #Hackathon #Innovation #Digitalization #ArtificialIntelligence #Technology #Creativity #Future #7thWin

🌟 Hey everyone! 🌟 Glad to present my first post! I’m super pumped to share that I had the coolest experience leading my team at my college hackathon! 🎉 We whipped up an awesome project called “Wallet Buddy,” which is all about making personal finance way easier for students and young professionals. You know how tricky it can be to keep track of money? Well, our platform helps users track expenses, set budgets, and even gives personalized tips on saving cash! But to stand out from the mainstream competition, we integrated a learning management system with it. 💰📊 As the team leader, I got to work with some seriously talented folks. The hackathon was a total whirlwind of ideas, coding, and, let’s be real, several sleepless nights! We faced some wild challenges, like debugging our code and trying to make our site look pretty, but we totally had each other’s backs. I’m so proud of how we all pushed each other to think creatively and keep the good vibes going! 🤝 Big shoutout to the awesome mentors who judged our projects and dropped some epic feedback. They really helped us step up our game and think bigger! And guess what? We even snagged an appreciation certificate for our hard work! 🏆 Leading this crew not only leveled up my tech skills but also showed me how important teamwork and creativity are in tackling problems. Huge thanks to everyone who organized the event and all the participants who brought their A-game! Let’s keep the innovation flowing and make some magic happen in our future projects! 🚀✨ This is just the beginning of an endless journey! Over the weekend Prakriti Bhattacharya and I participated in WomenTechies '24 a hackathon organised by Google Developer Student Clubs VIT with the goal of reaching the final pitches. Taking a break from creating projects for others; This time, we focused on building something just for us, the developers. Our aim is to simplify the development process and make it more efficient for developers. Introducing VOXA, a command line tool we created to make developers' lives easier. Voxa helps with tasks like api endpoint testing , mock data generation, agile development tracking, database seeding, and setting up development environments. 🎯 Challenges: Hackathons come with challenges, and we faced our fair share. After spending an excessive amount time on some tricky features, we made a decision to focus on what we could accomplish. The result? Voxa not only met our goals but exceeded expectations, earning us the 2nd place! 💡 Learning and Growing: This experience was a journey of learning and growth. We discovered the importance of adapting to challenges and making tough decisions under tight deadlines. The agile development tracker, added between the reviews, turned out to be a game-changer and a testament to our team's resilience. 🔗 GitHub Repository: https://lnkd.in/gzf92XqD 🔗 Presentation: https://lnkd.in/g7WCz_6q #apitesting #agiledevelopment #developmenttools #hackathonwinners

Glimpses of the event. The journey began with a simple question, "What exactly is code?" and led to the creation of innovative projects. CompilePanda provided a platform for students to showcase their work, allowing them to share their accomplishments and receive well-deserved appreciation from the audience.
