🦶Plantar fasciitis is a common foot injury. This pain is on the bottom of your foot, making walking difficult. It is due to inflammation or irritation of the fascia near your foot's medial arch. Fascia is a bundle of connective tissue that wraps and connects different muscles and bones. On the “plantar” aspect or bottom of the foot, this fascia starts at your heel and inserts into your forefoot, known as your “plantar fascia.” A great way to help loosen up this tissue while simultaneously decreasing pain and inflammation is to roll a golf ball along the bottom of your foot for 5-10 min. #PlantarFasciitis #footpain #footinjury #health #wellness #chiropractor #chiropractic #portland #sportsinjury #sportsmed #pt
