Far East Gold Ltd (ASX:FEG, OTC:FEGDF) CEO Shane Menere joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss plans for a maiden JORC 2012-compliant resource estimate for the Idenburg #gold concession in Indonesia. As part of this work, the company has engaged SMG Consulting to conduct a full audit of the site, including drill core and previous assays. This process aims to identify the drilling and assay work necessary to expedite the completion of a JORC resource. The company has significant historical data from previous exploration efforts, including an Exploration Target of more than 7.2 million ounces. The project covers a 95,280 hectare Contract of Work in the Papua province, an area known for significant gold and #copper deposits. The Idenburg project has been bolstered by recent forestry restrictions being downgraded to Production Forest, aiding in its development. SQX Resources (ASX:SQX) is currently focussed on exploring gold and copper mineralisation at its Scrub Paddock and Ollenburgs prospects, located in the under-explored Esk Basin in southeast Queensland. Both these assets, near major regional infrastructure and population centres, feature known mineralisation and historical mine workings. At Scrub Paddock, soil sampling and drilling have already confirmed gold and copper mineralisation; with the extent of this mineralisation now being investigated. Ollenburgs hosts potential for a copper-gold porphyry system and features several copper/gold/silver mine workings as well as other signs of prospectivity | Read more: https://lnkd.in/dz96HXv8

First silver discovery at Khusib Springs project in Namibia With silver prices rising, Golden Deeps has managed to eke out a maiden silver equivalent resource at its Khusib Springs silver-copper project in Namibia by recalculating existing drill holes using silver as the lead metal. Khusib Springs was thought to be principally a copper project, however the recent ramp-up in the silver price led Golden Deeps to run the rule over the project again – this time promoting silver and not necessarily copper as the key metal. https://lnkd.in/du6TtRq6

Strong and coherent anomalies on critical commodities tin, tungsten and lithium from initial soil sampling at Sweetwater Area, NSW. The program identified the NW-SE extensions of these anomalies over significant lengths for up to 3.5km and remain open to NW and SE. The prospectivity of the region is supported with the presence of historical tin workings (early 1900s) and recent rock sampling returning high-grade results up to 11.0% tin, 1,060ppm tantalum and 1.5% lithium-oxide. Managing Director Paul Adams commented: ”Our first soils sampling campaign at the Sweetwater Project area at Jingellic has yielded some very positive mineralised trends. In addition to lithium, which remains the Company’s key focus, Kali has identified coherent tin-tungsten anomalies that will be a focus for follow-up exploration in the near future by our Eastern-States based exploration team. Given that Sweetwater is only our first Prospect to have a completed soils campaign, we are very excited by the potential for our whole Southern Lachlan Fold Belt tenure.” Read the full ASX announcement: https://lnkd.in/dMvf7NUA #KM1 #tin #lithium #tungsten

Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX:AAJ) managing director Glenn Grayson sits down with Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to discuss high-grade #copper assays from the Fiery Creek Copper Project in the Mt Isa copper belt, northwest Queensland. Surface rock chip sampling by previous explorers, including Sumitomo and Anglo American, revealed significant copper grades with highlights such as 36% copper (Sumitomo), 25.4%, 15.2% and 11.2% copper (Anglo American). The Fiery Creek Project encompasses prospects like Fiery Creek, Twilight, Hellfire and Piper and is underexplored but in a geologically favourable area analogous to known copper deposit regions within the Mount Isa Inlier. The project has seen limited historical drilling with anomalous copper results and extensive hematite alteration indicative of a fertile copper system.
