Grid Evolution from Pilot to Scale! Looking forward to the GridWise Alliance's #gridCONNEXT in Washington DC next week (Dec 10th & 11th). Moving from pilot to scale is something very familiar to us here at Wirepas. Our customers have deployed more than 4 million smart meters in the Nordics and more than 4 million smart meters in India, and this number is growing every day! As one example, as part of a redevelopment approximately 100,000 households in Dharavi, India received Wirepas-enabled smart meters, with nearly 50,000 meters are within just 1 square kilometer. This is a challenging environment for effective data transmission. Dharavi may be the world’s most extreme example, but many of us have experienced situations in crowded stadiums or events where cellular cannot operate.
