🌟Reflecting on My First Six Months at NKT I can hardly believe it’s been approx.. six months since I joined NKT! The warm welcome from my amazing and skilled colleagues at all locations has truly made this experience special.   In this time, I’ve had the opportunity to visit all our main production sites, in many different countries—some multiple times—to connect with highly engaged teammates and meet some of our customers as well. Participating in GEMBA walks and workshops has allowed me to see, listen, and understand our processes. I’ve been proud to contribute to ongoing improvements, while also focusing on the longer journey that lies ahead, building trust and listened to strengths and opportunities for improvement across the board.   What truly sets NKT apart is our people. Our commitment to each-other, cooperation and improvements across borders starts with great people and great leadership – I have seen all of this during my start-up time with NKT. We have a strong dedication to continue enhancing health, safety, quality and efficiency for our employees, contractors, and customers. Together, we are achieving significant step changes!   I have said it many times (and I’ll do it again) - thank you to all my colleagues who took time explaining the processes, discussing the HSSE practices and sharing their insights with me. In a work environment, integrity matters a lot.

Today, I had the valuable opportunity to work closely with Sundeep Singh Group Officer of Global Business Services at BHP, in a planned task confirmation (PTC) session. This was a hands-on experience that allowed us to make meaningful improvements in our processes, and it’s a moment I consider an important milestone in my career. During the session, we reviewed each step of our workflows and quickly identified areas that could be more efficient. Sundeep’s insights were essential in helping us spot ways to cut down on unnecessary steps, eliminate repetitive tasks, and make better use of our resources. We focused on where automation could have the most impact, which will help us reduce manual work while increasing accuracy and speed. The changes we discussed aren’t just quick fixes—they’re setting up lasting improvements. Being part of this effort showed me how teamwork and fresh ideas can lead to real results. It also reinforced the value of collaboration in elevating our work as a whole. I’m grateful for the chance to work directly with someone as forward-thinking as Sundeep. Today’s experience has truly inspired me, and I’m excited to keep building on this success as we continue finding new ways to improve and streamline our processes. BTE ALERT / Best Team Ever Alert Recognition for March Calling out the Best of the Best As previously noted, I will continue to celebrate members of my team monthly that deserve the distinction of the Best of the Best. As previously noted, this is a tough task given the talent that resides in my organization…You don’t call your team the Best Team Ever without that team containing some serious talent. And as previously noted, it’s the acts of these individuals in 3 categories that allow them to be called out by my management team. So for March… All Star Performers: While my organization may post great numbers, these individuals posted numbers in March that made headlines internally. They beat expectations and caused my management team to take note of their performance. Michael Griesser Jessica Geinoski Jacob Tavenier Teamwork Award: I am lucky enough to lead a team that realizes that for themselves to be successful, you want the group you work with, the eco-system you work with, the company you work for to be successful. Sometimes and most times, that takes a village. The people below care enough about that village that they demonstrate it profoundly. It’s one of the traits we cherish at TDSynnex, knowing that your own success comes easier when they devote effort to make the team Successful. Koby Franklin Brooke Pannal The Damon Mim’s Award: One extra email, one extra call, one extra piece of effort is sometimes what it takes to make that distinction between being good and being better than good. We named this award after one of TDSynnex’s own that we lost un-expectedly who displayed this trait every day.
