PROCUREMENT IS AWESOME BUT VERY HARD JOB It is an extraordinary thing when you as a procurement manager have a limited manpower but they also very reliable team, high integrity and amazing depth of analysis. The procurement unit is known as a unit that has a lot of demands both in terms of cost efficiency, quality of goods/services, lead time and transparency. With approx 400 procurement projects per year, it will be very difficult for you if you only have 8 team members, unless your team of 8 are procurement experts who have great integrity and have very deep analytical thinking. Determine appropriate end-to-end processes and tools needed to achieve development, delivery, reliability & availability goals.  Identifying, sourcing and evaluating potential vendors coupled with excellent skills in consensus building, organization and price negotiation, tendering and estimating long term and profitable contracts management  Liaise with sales team, production team & Q.C for arrangements of RM/PM & quality of materials.  Implement systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock which cause production and financial losses  Prepare (I) Vendor Rating Sheet (II) Supplier approvals (III) price variations report.  Generate various MIS reports like Vendor Rating, Supplier Approval & Supplier List for TMS work on the developments; prepare Purchase Orders, GRN preparation, cutting Production, Rejection, Delivery and moral activities & maintaining necessary stock records to track the inward / outward movement of goods as per the standards  Liaise with various departments within the organization and follow-up on outstanding stock and procurement issues. Analyzed cost and pricing data from vendors and perform contract audits when required.  Maintained appropriate stock that it should not be overflow and at the same time it should not be below requirement. Analyze current procurement activities and recommend improvements through more efficient procurement methods, discounts, standardization, value analysis and cooperative purchasing.
