Long ago I had a really old car, a VWJetta, and it sprung a hole in the transmission. At the same time a friend with a VWScirocco blew the engine. He suggested, since both cars were VW, we take the transmission from the Scirocco and put it into Jetta. Surprise, the transmission wouldn't fit. A special bracket had to be made and installed to accommodate the differences. The moral of the story is: When migrating data #datamigration across like protocols or systems, make sure that all hidden differences are addressed ahead of time. 🎉 We are happy to share the #progress of an ongoing #project “5G, Artificial Intelligence and optimization techniques for next generation logistics solutions” (in collaboration with Spedlite and Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas). Scientific results: - Collected real data on 1M loads as input for our profitability estimation model. - Created a European load data heat cube for optimal load chain planning. Software: - Established business connections and ongoing integrations with top load boards in the EU. - Developed a rest stop planning module that is ready for PoC testing. - Developed a fueling planning module that is ready for PoC testing. Hardware: - Conducting ongoing #5G telematics market analysis and selecting the best devices for testing. Next Steps: - Internal testing of the solution within our team. - External shadow testing of our #solution alongside existing dispatch operations. 📅 Project start date: 01.01.2024 💰 Project value: EUR 1,650,547.82, with EUR 1,009,593.08 in EU support.
