Harnessing the power of AI, Dr. Wruck and Dr. Scott are not just flagging students at risk, they’re pinpointing WHY and HOW to intervene effectively. By creating a feedback loop that seamlessly integrates insights into the advising process and developing an algorithm that processes the student lifecycle, they are paving the way for personalized, efficient student support!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a tool that can enhance teaching and learning, but it cannot replace human faculty to educate and interact with our community college students in California. Teaching and learning is a humanized process that goes beyond simple knowledge (facts) transfer. Hopefully, Assembly Bill 2370 will be signed by the Gov. Gavin Newsom. Will the Bill expand to CSUs and UCs as well? As Amends the Law Today SECTION 1. Section 87359.2 is added to the Education Code, to read: The instructor of record for a course of instruction shall be a person who meets the minimum qualifications to serve as a faculty member teaching credit instruction or a faculty member teaching noncredit instruction established pursuant to Section 87356 or the qualifications to serve as a faculty member established pursuant to Section 87359.
