If your organization is in an industry where experiencing down time isn't an option i.e.( Legal, Education, Religious Organizations, Healthcare, Nonprofit, etc.), I strongly urge you consider the company you decide to partner with. Do they have preventative strategies to minimize instances of downtime? Do they keep parts in their warehouse or do they have to ship them before being able to fix the issue? Does your rep do regular account reviews to address issues/concerns ahead of time? How would you rate the relationship and service from your current vendor on a scale of 0-10?

Brokers or Carriers…. Do you know when you’re about to be replaced? There are either direct or indirect signs from your shipper. Direct signs - QBRs or monthly reviews - Phone calls regarding service, quality or price - Emails with concerns Indirect signs - Less loads - Not invited to upcoming bids - Internal conversations that you’re not invited to Stay close to your internal contacts so there’s no surprises because it's what's said when you're not in the room that matters.
