Our information ecosystem has changed. We're changing, too, but not for the better. Read (or listen to) the latest edition of No Mercy / No Malice: https://lnkd.in/eM_ZV5c5
Godlike technology? Wyf are you talking about? We all turn 50. I already have, you are not as special as you think.
You are losing me dude.
Thank you for sharing this insightful piece. The evolution of our information ecosystem indeed presents both challenges and opportunities for businesses. As we navigate these changes, it's crucial to adopt strategies that emphasize transparency, adaptability, and innovation. By doing so, we can not only mitigate the negative impacts but also leverage new avenues for growth and engagement. Looking forward to more discussions on how we can strategically adapt to these shifts.

I liked the "asshole" paragraph. He reminds me of Brandolini's law where "The amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than that needed to produce it"
Jesus you make me want to go and delete everything.

3moAlways enjoy hearing your perspective on current topics. Regarding censorship, I would argue we should spend time debating this topic. Size of a problem can quickly change. Throughout world history censorship has contributed to both intended and unintended deep societal costs. We only need to go to our grandparents' generation to understand that censorship can be like snow flakes that create snow balls which start pushing their way through society and leading to avalanches with much destruction in their path. A rise in censorship should be addressed early on and I do believe we're seeing a rise a censorship. Let's at a minimum openly debate where it's in conflict with our founding principle of Free Speech and understand where we may be creating risk of raising the next set of generations to lack critical thinking skills and the ability to debate.
